Title: Peter Graves 1926-2010
Post by: Uncle Yuan on March 15, 2010, 02:20:36 AM
Peter Graves died today: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/15/arts/television/15graves.html

I really, really need to rent Airplane! again.  And he was Marshall Dillon's little brother, who knew?

Yes it's serious and stop calling him Shirley, Roger! (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/03/peter-graves-passes-away-roger-roger/1)

He will be missed!

One movie he was in I really liked was Stalag 17. Highly recommend watching that movie. William Holden was the star, but Peter Graves was really good in it.

(Hopefully TV Land will air a Mission: Impossible marathon, but I'm not counting on it)

I loved the original MI.  It must be one of my top 10 all time favorite TV series, and Peter Graves could do a good job even in a cheesy role.  I have one of his early sci-fi films.  It's lame, but not because of Peter.
