Title: Characters from Nintendo
Post by: Neros Urameshi on March 08, 2010, 03:53:50 AM
I would love to see these in meshes, but skins are better here, as long as they are portrayed best enough.

(Bowser's Twin brother as a skin)
(original, red, blue, yellow and green as alternate skins)
(I'd like to see dark brown as one of its skins)
(of any kind)
(Castlevania)
(Omega Zero as a skin)

These are the ones that I find that would likely be skins of whatever character is perfect for him/her.

     ....

wow...that is one heck of a list.

I know there are meshes for Kirby and Megaman, and pretty sure there is one for Link.  Check the Master Mesh List (at the top of this forum) for their locations, as they're all older meshes.  You might also find some others from you list that I'm not aware of/have forgotten.

Are you sure he isn't a troll?  This is the third time he had come up with this kind of monster list.

What's strange is the tone. It's not just an enormous request but it's a request with quality stipulations and his other thread comes across like an order "Don't worry about the mesh just do a skin"...

I am NOT a troll at all. And I promise that I'll keep future lists short. And I mean it.

Just a word from the wise.. and someone who learned the hard way once upon a time.

The best thing to do is create a single "wish list" in requests and edit/add/subtract to that list as time goes on. Like I would love to help you make/skope BEN 10 characters because I love that show myself BUT.. my plate is rather full at the moment and would have replied in time when I was ready to tackle a few of those characters.

There are only a hand full of meshers active that do stuff for FF/FFvsT3R and they put long hours of time into characters they want to put into the game at that moment (plus having to build meshes from the ground up and make animations frame by frame often causes them to go on hiatus from time to time to keep from burning out). Then there are skopers (like me, Area34, and dozens of others) who also put characters together but we assemble them based on what parts are available and what strikes our fancy or what is on our own to do lists. Ask anyone of us and we would probably tell you that those lists are mighty long (probably just as long as your own wish lists and then some).

Just hang tight and bump your list every once in awhile (like every few months) and believe me your list will start to shrink. Plus read all of the posts of skoping/skinning techniques and soon you might be willing to experiment with the mod tools yourself and suddenly find that addiction kicking in and have a folder full of stuff to show off one day.

There is a Mario mesh out there...It may not be the best there could be, but you'll have to take what you can get.

Cheers.
