Post by: bat1987 on November 29, 2009, 12:08:50 AM
Seriously?

:banghead:

TBH from the trailer I only recognize Kyo and Iori, because of the flames, and I`ve played most of the KOF games. This is gonna suck big time.

I am a fan of many fighting games nowadays. Street Fighter, Tekken, you name it. As such, I am quite fond of KOF as well. So it saddens me to see this mockery of such a long running franchise. I mean, honestly, it's like they they made their own generic action movie, and slapped the KOF name on it. (One of the biggest disgraces is Terry Bogard, and if you know of him, you'd also be interested as to why he has become a hotshot CIA agent. :banghead:)

This could actually be worse then Legend of Chun-Li... <_<

Terry Bogard a CIA agent  I didn`t even know he was in the movie.
The more I hear about the movie the less I care about it. This is already worse than Legend of Chun-Li.
Lets hope that director of the Tekken movie does a better job.

Indeed, since the next thing you know, Ryo (another mainstay of KOF) could be an FBI agent with an orange suit. ;) (Hasn't been confirmed so far, but you never know...)

 If it didnt say KOF at the end, I would not have known what the hell that even was. Is it that hard to make a fighting game movie? I mean, the anime versions at least have decent stories but when they become live action, its like the writer/director never even bother to look at the source material. Is Mortal Kombat still the only decent one?
