I came across Doctor Challenger's skope of Grog and saw that it needed a skin (if there's an existing skin, please let me know). I haven't picked up the latest Thor annual that he's in, so I don't know if his costume has changed. Feel free to use it as a placeholder until someone makes a better one. heh...I just need to skin his staff and finish his helmet and my skin is done
EDIT: Where did you get this skope? The reflections don't work on mine. :(

thanks doc!
C6- I got the skope from Doctor Challenger's Yahoo site (link below, if you need it). I had some problems with the reflections, too, but I honestly can't remember what I did to fix it. I just know I did a little manipulation in Nifskope (including the chest bands due to some significant clipping). I would be more than happy to send you what I have if that would help. I am very much looking forward to your version, by the way. Your work has always been the standard and your latest stuff is just amazing.
herodad1- You can find the mesh here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/docspantheon/
Ah, you beat me to it, Doc. Thanks for the skope. Great job.
For a first showing this is a very nice skin though I would turn down the refl layer a little.

What he said & a cool character too
Awesome ... a childhood favourite character. When I first started reading comics, one of my regular reads was Thor, and the first storyline was Seth invading Asgard, creating Earth Force, etc.
I decided to take Afghan Ant's excellent advice and tone down the refl layer. I really wanted to capture the blue metallic feel, but overdid it a bit. I think this version is more subtle and works better. I've posted the update at my site: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/hoss20/ . Thanks to everyone for the comments. I really appreciate it.

You could experiment with different lightmap files, to see some cool effects on the metal of your skin.
nice work. i'd try and add some toning to the straps. where is the staff from?
