Title: Skope skin weirdness
Post by: Courtnall6 on November 13, 2009, 05:53:24 PM
Anyone know why I get a strange skin amalagamation in Nifskope? When I go into Render/Settings/Auto Detect Game Paths...this is what I get

Doctor Timber Von Wolfendoom!

The hood is using the extras texture from vxSuperman.

Usually it's because you've got several different folders... nifskope pulls what it can from each folder on your list. If I had to guess, your folder list looks something like:

(FF path)VX_Timberwolf/skins/standard
(FF path)Superman_Ren/skins/standard
./skins/standard

with several other additions the list is ignoring due to the heirarchy. The best policy in general is to just keep the list down to three:

./skins/(foldername you're using, change as necessary)
./skins/standard
./skins/wire
