Yep, just got a phone call supposedly from some media group about a poll and for some reason I actually didn't hang up. The questions quickly became more about one guy until I got a "question" which really wasn't, at which point, I hung up.
This politician will never ever receive my vote now. I hate being tricked. Sigh.
Note: I won't identify the politician or his party.
Did she have a soothing voice? That's usually the reason I would stay on the line. :P
It was a he not a she, so no, that wasn't a reason.
I never get pretty sounding girls on those phone calls for some reason.
At least you didn't get Rick Rolled! ;)
Been there done that. I actually prefer Rick Rolling. No one's trying to manipulate my opinion for their own benefit. I don't like being played.
see, I have a simpler method... if it happens again just go "unless your candidate is for the creation of an army of killer mutant tomatoes, I don't want to talk to you."
Oh, and if they ever do say yes to that one... let me know, ok? I've been trying to legitimize mutant tomatos here, and it'd be nice to meet a candidate who actually supports my worldview

I'll keep that in mind. If we ever want real superheroes, they have to have something appropriate to fight, don't they?
