Okay, let me start by saying I'm not always amused by PvP, the webcomic by Scott Kurtz. But there is from time to time a laugh out loud moment and this, for me, was one of them:

If you don't follow PvP, you might not see the humor in it. Or you might get a chuckle out of the fact that the goofy superhero who can hardly speak an understandable sentence is actually...
Spoiler
Butler. The butler.
That. Was. Awesome!
(I read PvP but probably wouldn't have read it until sometime tonight if I hadn't seen this post. Thanks a bunch!)
Ehh, I'm fairly ambivalent about the character...and I like Butler a little less now. :P I do enjoy PVP a good deal, though.

I had the reverse effect.
Heh. Apparently they are putting together a City of Heroes LOLBat mission. On a vaguely related note, I'd like to see them do a CO series of strips.

Lolbat might just be a part of Butler's fantasy life, never to appear alongside the actual PvP cast. That would be even funnier than if Butler was actually the Lolbat. Especially if he forgets himself on rare occasions and starts acting out his fantasy...
It's kind of a PvP thing... one foot firmly planted in fantasy and the other one... somewhere else.

I tried to play the Lolbat arc... unfortunately the 35-45 level range means that the hero I tried to play kept visiting the hospital and I was barely able to complete the first mission. So far it's about as amusing as the Lolbat-themed strips... which for me means it's "ha, ha" funny at best and nowhere near "LOL".
