I'm surprised there's no thread for this yet. Thoughts on the remake?
The production values are sick. I dont remember the original V at all except for the aliens amongst us theme but I think I would be glad to give this a shot.
It looks good so far, not quite as cheesy as the original. Unfortunately, they can't use the same surprise twist as the original, so either they come up with something different & not quite expected, or just use the same & rely on a mixture of nostalgia & younger generations not knowing about it.
Have no interest in watching it, because the original mini-series was a classic and I can't see anyone topping Jane Badler as Diana. But I prefer to forget the second mini-series and tv series (the tv series especially), which were drek, even existed!

that they are reptiles? They reveal that in the trailer above, PG...They are repilian beings....My guess is they are evolved dinosaurs and have either returned to Earth after leaving it for the stars OR they have lived among us forever (as the trailer suggests and were disquised) and had their ships hidden somewhere nearby (underground?)...Those are my theories. If they're aliens, I just hope they don't use the sad excuse for coming to our planet for water they did in the original series...Any race that can build star ships like that can synthesize/produce water.

hmmm....I didn't look at the linked trailer, had just assumed it was the same as the one I saw in the theater last weekend, which didn't even hint at that. oh well.
I just saw 10 episodes of this over the weekend. I loved it! They have a good plot going with some good sub-plots. The only thing I don't like are the CG sets, but I can live with those. Too bad it may be canceled. Aren't any of you watching? Why is all the stuff I like getting canceled? First Knight Rider and now this. TV sucks!
I follow this one and SGU currently. I am hearing that this one is in a better position than others.
The surprisee twist was why they were so interested in taking over Earth. Being revealed to be reptiles happened kinda early.
Well, everyone already knew they were reptiles because of the old show. There was no point in hiding that.
But yeah, I'm enjoying this show as well. I do hope it gets renewed, but if it doesn't, they had better give them a chance to draw it to some kind of conclusion.
Even in the old show, the reptile reveal happened early on. The big secret was their motives.

They're really doing an excellent job of retelling this story. It's been a long time since a story had me on the edge of my seat like this.

Great news. I hate to admit it, but Anna is hot. I like her better with the short hair than the long hair she had when she was on FireFly
Plus the actress does a great job as Anna. No one else I've seen can smile so much and be so scary at the same time. She creeps me out, as she should.
Just finished watching the season finale and there is no way the network will leave me hanging like that....haha! That was an awesome episode!
