I've been slogging away in Adobe, converting TGA files to DDS one by one. Am I missing something? Is there an easier way to do it?
With Adobe you can set a macro that would repeat everything you do. Have it set to record then open all the files in a directory then save as the new format and close the file then stop the recording and then use the macro.
Quick question though, what is the gain of converting all of them?
You can cut down the size by about 1/2. Also, the engine preferentially selects DDS files so I've been wondering if some of the pink texture problems are related to this fact.
