Ok, checked this out last night with my girl and her buddies. This was just a plain fun movie to watch. Best opening credits ever. They did some things in the movie that would make any Zombie Guide Survivalist scream, but it still came off good. Plus, there's a really funny cameo starring the big BM. I almost coughed up some yak burger on this one. Anybody else see it?
No, but I'm wondering who the big Bowel Movement is.
I absolutely loved this movie....

Spoiler
Bill Murray
I haven't seen it but I've heard it was good. From you. Just now. And another guy.
I would put the above post in spoiler tags... the cameo is a lot of fun if you don't know who it is and i think naming the person kind of spoils it for those who haven't seen it or want to be surprised. But that's just my opinion...
I agree, the identity of "B.M." should be in spoilers. Though it is all over the IMDB page.
I have several friends and acquaintances who were zombies in this movie. It was shot mostly in Georgia.
And though I enjoyed it, I have a few colleagues who didn't really care for it as a horror movie. We got into discussion over rather or not it was meant to be a horror movie first or a comedy first.
In no way was that movie a horror film. From the opening credits they set this up as a comedy. Were you fearful for any of the characters lives? Not in the least. Just fun fun fun. Also, I loved the nod to Equilibrium towards the ending. They all did a good job. Also, post end credit moment. Stay for that.

My point exactly!
Oh, and a funny thing about the B.M. appearance. He was actually in town to film a different movie and reportedly slipped away over to the Zombieland location where his stuff was shot. A few of us were wondering if his appearance was cast prior to the beginning of the shoot. Either way, B.M. joins Katherine Heigel on the list of big name actors to have done two movies in Georgia in one year.
I read that the original version of the script had Patrick Swayze cast in a small role and they were gonna do a whole Dirty Dancing joke scene, but then he got really sick and he couldn't do it... That woulda been kind of funny too.
funny as hell. i couldn't stop laughing. definitely worth seeing.

That's not really a spoiler. Okay maybe when combined with the initials....
