something that has got me thinking, would anyone be interested in throwing they're hat into the ring, to help with a new version of ezfx, there was a lot of classic fx that were never transferred over to :ffvstr: and a lot of single release ones that came out every so often
if you're interested we would need people who would be able to program the installation, and convert some of the old :ff: fx's. now of course there will be ones that can't be used so they would need to be sorted
a lot of content for this game has died down but this is something that keep getting batted about.
I do hope some people will be interested in this project. :)
I've more than got my hands full at the moment, but this is a really good idea.
I was under the impression that old fx would work as long as you use an end nif that's compatible with :ffvstr:. Is this not true?
Yes, in fact a version of this was created by Electro he failed to get permissions and did some modifying of his own along the way. IPS then led a second effort to do this, which ended when Alex released EZFX 6, but there hasn't been anything else since.
I'd suggest you make it an add on to EZFX 6 and see if you can include, with proper consent, of course, the newer FFvTTR FX that have been created by various people.
I second the notion of an EZFX add-on patch, especially if it contained all of Previsionary's, Renegade's, and Afghan Ant's latest FX.
Also I believe Urthman had a few great ones too.
Yeah, you should definitely get with Electro and see about getting permissions so he could release his FXGold pack. It has pretty much everything your talking about.

Hrm, that was a very rocky road that I don't think needs to be revisited, and that was several years ago; I doubt 'Tro kept the files once he got into CoH.
Yeah, I think it's best not to go that rout.
But definitely see if you can include some of the newest stuff mentioned earlier.
