Title: I'm joining the Freedom lovers!
Post by: FreedomEnforcer on September 02, 2009, 01:44:10 PM
Got this game on steam on Saturday, been loving it ever since. I've been installing some skins and meshes, but I'm not going to mess with FFedit. I would like it if someone could tell me where to install the EZFX from Alex's Freedom FOrtress, because I don't know where to put it.

And while you're at it, where should I install the DC Universe and other mods. All these goodies right at my fingertips and I don't know where to put them! Thanks in advance!

EZfx auto installs. It should already point to your FF directory and install correctly. As for mods installations, some auto install and some are zips. Check out: Comprehensive List of Tutorials (http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=50675.0) and FR Wiki (http://frworld.wikispaces.com/How+to+install+a+mod)

You need to make sure that the shortcut is set up properly, which it may not be for the Steam version of the game. See the Game FAQ (http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=49868) for some notes on finding the base game folder and how to set up shortcuts for mods.
