Title: Oh NO! I pressed Campain in FFEdit!!
Post by: Artemis on August 27, 2009, 11:20:30 PM
And i think it broke my FFVTTR game. now I seem to recall that pressing the button does something bad (I pressed it by accident, honest!)
and now whenever i try to load up FFvTTR on steam an error says to place the FFVTTR disc in and try to re-install.

However, as I have the steam version I cannot place the disc in.

Can anyone help me? do i need to delete a file or something? or re-download?

Any help is appreciated! :)

Its usually the campdef.dat file that causes the issue. Try renaming or removing the campdef.dat file from whatever mod folder you had set as your primary path in FFedit when you clicked the tab.

I'm pretty sure that was only the first game, but I believe the instructions to fix it are still safe in any case.

I deleted the campdef.dat file, still the same problem, but steam have the option to search the files and updates/replaces any suspect files. This solved the problem.

Thanks for the help guys!
