I use to play this game back in the day on my dad's comp. Back then we had dial up and Aol was slow as hell so I didn't really know about this stuff. Mods and what not. Considering the parental controls didn't let me enter google. Well. I got older rediscovered the game on steam after not having any luck finding the game in stores and I downloaded it. I was just wondering. Since I never got to play the online because I had dial up and couldn't get on it. Is the online still active and what are meshes? Just wondering?
Online play was never very popular to begin with, although I understand there was the odd person here or there early on. Still, if you ask nicely, you may find some people willing to play with you.
There still loads of downloadable content though. Just browse the forums and you'll start finding stuff.
