Title: Changing the Axies in Nifscope
Post by: daglob on August 10, 2009, 02:48:42 AM
I've asked this question before and did not get a solution to the problem. I was offered good advice that probably alleviates the situation, but it is still a problem.

Occasionall when I copy something into Nifscope, it is not on the default x, y, and z axies. I don't know what axies they arusing, but I don't think it involves the English alphabet. Is there any way to get the object to go back to xyz? Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Is there a way to assure that the piece will be on XYZ when you copy it?

As I said before, sometimes it isn't a big problem, other time is seems insurmountable (It's like the planes are not at 90 degees to each other).

What you can try is this:

Copy the piece.

If it is off go back to the original mesh it came from and open the XYZ access info.  Copy all the info back to the Skope.
See What happens.

I have never tried this but it could solve the problems...........maybe.

Good luck.

I think the Transform > Copy will work, and is a lot faster.
