John Hughes, director of 80s teen flicks "16 Candles"  & "The Breakfast Club" & others has died of a heart attack at age 59.

The dominoes just keep falling.  Breakfast Club is one of the best movies, if not stories, ever imo.

It and Ferris Bueller's Day Off are must see viewing, imho. Easily two of the best movies about teens ever made.

I'm a huge 80's nerd and most of his movies are required viewing.

I compare Breakfast Club as a film to The Catcher in the Rye as a novel.  Must reads/must view

I flare my nostrils in sadness. He was really good at making movies that shouldn't be great great.
