And so it came to pass, that he of the Gunn, and she of the non-Gunn, were joined into one house, and there was great joy and celebration (and hopefully no bashing of heads). And all was well in the land.
Just a quick, last post. Tomorrow at 1300 PDT, I will finally be wedding the seemingly perpetual soon-to-be Mrs. Gunn. Following that, when asked what we plan to do next, we reply the same way that all great elder statesmen do: WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!
I fully expect to be incommunicado from now until sometime late on the 9th, possibly sometime on the 10th, depending on how tired we are when we get back. You kids be good, no wild parties, and don't break the boards while we're gone.
Congratulations!!!
Funny... I was just at a wedding a week ago...
Awesome! Congratulations, man. I went to Disneyland on my honeymoon!
Congrats!
Congrats, man!
Congrats!!!!!!
Whoo-hoo, Congratulations to the both of you! If my friend's honeymoon at Disney is any indication, you guys are going to have a great time.
Congrats Panther!
Major congrats to Mr and Mrs Gunn!
congrats to you, and a future Son-of-a-Gunn
Congradulations!
Kids are fun, but wait until the grandchildren...
Yes congratz, and have a good time.
DISNEYLAND?!?!?!?! What I'd think ye'd be off hunting some poor street urchin together...but Disneyland?!?! That's just as wrong as marriage!
Congrats, I guess!
....and, we're back. Actually, we were back last Sunday night, but I've been waiting on pictures to share, and finally had to take care of them myself.
Thank you for all of the well-wishes. The wedding went well, only one slip-up during the ceremony, but it wasn't bad, and completely understandable. The ceremony seemed to fly by, I think because I seemed to be constantly busy. The only cake I got was the the ceremonial cutting, and never had time to get back for my own slice.
The honeymoon, 7 days in Anaheim (5 in Disney/California Adventure, 1 at Knott's Berry Farm, 1 at Universal & Hollywood), was excellent. Only one day was really too hot, but there were no sunburns, no illness, no injuries, and in the end, we just didn't want to come back, so I'd call that an all-around successful trip! Spent way too much money, of course, but I kind of expected to. Once we left the reception, all of the stress & pressure that had been mounting in the preparation for the big day (we arranged & financed our own wedding....definitely *don't* recommend doing that!) finally slipped away, and we were free to just be ourselves *with* just ourselves. All was happiness.
Now, the almost full day we spent at two different military bases this past Monday getting her an ID card, medical records, etc, well, let's just say that was less than fun, and leave it at that.
Since I promised pictures, here ya go:

For that kind of enjoyable outing, I'd be bringing along the best man, instead of the girlie-girl. The right tool for the job, and all that.
Tuxedokilt?
Awesome.
PG - sorry for the lateness - congrats!
You two make a spiffy looking couple. Congrats again, and glad you guys have a great time.
