Yes, this is exact the virus I got a couple of weeks ago. You need to download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

Spybot doesn't do anything against this virus but I agree with thalaw2.

I tried this AfghanAnt but I still get redirected. It didn't kill the virus.

Yep, I did and it found tons of stuff but the redirecting still continues. My bud advised me to reformat as there is no way to get rid of this virus. I really don't want to do that.

Reformatting this quickly is the last resort of the clueless.  Do you have anti-virus software?  Do you have a firewall?  Do you have anything that tells you the name of the virus?  If you have some files or processes that you're suspicious of, you can try googleing them, & read up on it.  Most likely, there are changes that have been made in the registry.  If you can wait until tomorrow, I can give you a site that takes viruses apart & reports what files they create, and what changes they make.  If you search for any parts of the virus on their site, you can find out what's been changed, and possibly remove it manually, although that should be a last resort after letting anti-virus software try to do it's job first.

Thanks for replying. I have Avira anti-virus, STOPzilla and SUPER AntiSpyware all installed and I run them everyday. They all find tons of stuff and gets rid of them but this redirecting virus will not go away. The only firewall I have is Windows firewall, unless there is one set by default in Avira that I am not aware of.
