Looks like there's going to be a sequel:

Not sure how I feel about that. I didn't think the first film was very good... <_<
But we just had one. :(

Spider-man anyone?
Anyway, the only way I can see this going is for him to go to the far east and falls in love & fights silver samurai
X-Men Origins: Wolverine vs the Sky the epic battle you have been waiting for.
They've said all along that a possibly sequel was going to be in Japan and follow the Chris Claremont / Frank Miller series.
Apparently it's also going to deal with how Sabretooth became the mindless brute he becomes in the X-Men film.
I havent even seen the first one yet, the reviews by comic fans and movie critics where pretty bad.
I would be surprised if a sequel would be much better. I think they should do another x-men... even when x-men is bad it is still fun (3).
I'm of the group what thinks the first movie was not bad. I enjoyed it excpet for a few parts (ie the timeline in relation the X-Men movies and Deadpool being shut up).

I'm one of those who agrees with you.
Even though the first one wasn't great, the second one could be good.
I read that Hugh Jackman has said he'd like to do the stuff in Japan.
I agree - I'd quite like to see something based on the 80s miniseries. (http://blog.newsok.com/nerdage/2009/04/22/wolverine-wednesday-wolverine-miniseries/)
