Title: Request for a piece: a web
Post by: DoctorRuina on May 09, 2009, 03:02:34 PM
I need a web for my Asbestos Man. Anybody knows where to find one?

My Spiderman mesh has underarm webbing. You might via creative nifskoping be able to make something a bit like that net.
Or possibly adapt any of the web/net FX there are out there.

I would recommend that you scale the verticies on a captain america type shield to get the shape you are looking for. I tried it out on one of Gren's Captain America meshes, and it was the z vert, but I think that you may want to gow witht the old male_shield mesh (Jik?) for best alpha effect, so it may not be the z vert.

A good idea Tommy, I'll try to do it with your Spiderman underarm webbing.
And I've used the Grenadier Cap shield, but I'm not still scale vertices. I'll try to do it to get the shape that I'm looking.
This is my work in progress:

An alpha enabled cone may do the trick too if the underarm webbing doesn't work out.

As for the question on the comic cover, I'm sure Johnny Storm could just fly away and wait for poisoning and/or obscurity to kill the asbestos man :P
