From the way it sounds, they plant to utilize the same digital effect style for the upcoming "Where the Wild Things Are" film, i.e. human actors in suits with CGI faces. So waddya think- good idea or bad?
I liked the latest CGI film they put out quite a bit, was kinda hoping if anything we would get another one of those. Though who am I kidding I am still gonna watch it if they make it.
A bit of a sidetrack but did Michelangelo actually USE his nunchuks in that last movie?

I don't think so.
It's possible that this could be decent, but I agree with Grizz. I REALLY loved the TMNT movie, and I would really like to see that continued. If we get to see that story followed up on in addition to this, then I'm all for it.
See, being a child who loved the live action, i am ready for a good new live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also thought that "TMNT" was a lame title. I did like that movie though. Wouldv'e liked to see it in ya know REAL-D!

I also thought that "TMNT" was a lame title.
The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book was intended as a parody of various trends that were popular in comics at the time. The intentionally-silly title, mentioning teenagers, mutants, and ninjas- all the major hot comic trends of the time- was part of the parody.
Taken out of context, as it always is now, since the turtles franchise has taken on a life of its own, it is kind of a strange title.
No, i'm sorry. I meant litterally TMNT, not the full title. I thought an abreviation was unecessary.
just want to mention how much i love the turtles...
Yeah, I'm a big fan of Ninja Turtles too, but I'm not sure whether this new movie will be good or not. I hope it does turn out to be new.
Wouldn't this be reboot #2? The last movie was CGI, right? And before that it was live action with guys in bad TMNT suits.
Do we really need another reboot?
The CGI film was in continuity with the live action film. There was a shot at the end with a shelf on the wall full of visual referances to the previous movies (the TGRI canister, the Shredder's helmet, the time scepter, ect).
You know, with the exception of 3, I have no problem with them just staying in continuity.
