I found the Freedom Force expansion pack (FFX) and the site said it worked on FF and FFV3R. When I got to the actual site however, it said it only worked on FFV3R. Is there a different release of the mod that works on FF?
You will find the FFX 2, which is for FF, on http://fundamentzero.com.
The latest version of FFX 3, which is FFvTTR, is on http://ffx.freedomforceforever.com.

Just so whoever runs it can fix the problem, what's the URL of the site where you saw one version of FFX listed as working for both
FF and
FFvT3R?

By the way, the link to http://fundamentzero.com. just says "Server Not Found" every time I try to bring it up. Is it available from another site?

fundamentzero.com is fine. Only the home page shows up as that as I suppose mike changed it. Just click on the button for FFX 2.6 for FF1 (or w/e you're trying to download) and it'll load correctly.
Okay, I found it, thank you for all your help and patience.
Thanks for the heads up. I've updated the FR World (http://frworld.wikispaces.com/FFX) page.
Those of you unable to see the index page are using Mozilla Firefox, right?
Internet Explorer handles the front page fine.
I'll have a look at this once I get home and get the front page working for all browsers soon.
DrMike, the base page (the frameset) shows up fine and the left frame (navigation panel) shows up fine. The right/main frame gives an error

So, it may just be that the COH page isn't where the server is looking for it or generating it. I would suspect the backslash in the URL (instead of a forward slash), but I don't know how your server handles those.
Yep, you nailed it: those dusty MS-DOS backlashes are not something a proper browser will deign follow.* Certainly not, Sir. Pshaw!
*Actually, AFAIK it's just that IE converts internally the link's <a href> value from a backslash to a slash.
I hate to be more trouble but the attributes don't seem to be working. I can get them for characters, but I none of the commands are showing up on the command menu. :banghead:
Do you have a -log in the command line?
That, and most of the common setup problems are explained here:
