Title: So, How's Everyone Doing?
Post by: The Hitman on March 07, 2009, 04:54:05 PM
Used to post these from time to time. Seemed like a good time.

I'm doing OK. Kinda bored here at work, but it's not too bad. College is driving me nuts, but I have maybe 2 quarters left, so no complaints.

So, what are youalls up to? How's everything going?

Pretty good. College is...eh. I think I'm going to destroy my GPA this quarter, but that's alright; I just hope I'll be able to afford to keep going in the spring. Bright side, I'm doing a business internship that's a lot of hard work, but a very interesting experience, and hopefully that'll cover college next year.

Although I am STILL unemployed, apparently the governor backed off or was overruled, and funds for extended unemployment benefits have been accepted and I have recieved notice that I qualify.

My mother had her knee replaced a week ago, but is doing well. My granddaughter continues to drive my daughter crazy which I find hilarious.

All in all, except for the whole "unemployed and barely geting along bit" things are going pretty good.

Currently studying Property law, yeah not very interesting.

I always liked Criminal Law more, which I passed btw.

Ive joined daglob in the club of the unemployed, so i have been holed up and doing a lot nothing (cause its inexpensive) except the occasional bits of freelance work to augment the unemployment. But other than that... peachy.

I just woke up and feel randomly ill. Shame really, as I was hoping to get a lot of work done today.

I was wondering how that was coming along.  Get all your sleeping in now while you can!

I'm doing well enough.  My last four month long blocks have been inpatient rotations, which means work weeks in the 70 hour range and one day a week off.  I'm coming up on three weeks of inpatient care followed by a week vacation - I'm going to Greece!

Work: While the last few months have been very frustrating, as far as work quality and satisfaction are concerned, at least I've still got a job (fingers crossed), so I can't complain.

Love: So far, so (very, very) good.

Hobbies: You starring at it.

I can't complain.  I have a good job during these hard times.  I live in a 4 star hotel just 10min walking from the office.

Love life is good...could be a little more frequent but nonetheless good..hehe

I just got 4 more hours of classes starting today so I will be teaching 22 hours a week, but at least the school finally decided to pay us for overtime instead of letting us exchange it for time off....what's time off to a teacher when you get Summer and Winter vacation as a requirement...darnit we want money!
