i've got a mod :ff: , complete, with an ending. anyone willing to supply originals for it? all i have to do is plug them in. it is furie's rumble mod. but i've done a lot of things to it, such as supplying the way to win.
while there is a cooldown with characters, i would love to put in some new guys. even if only for myself, if no one else is interested.
all i need are skins and meshes of original characters. hero files, voicepacks, theme music are all optional.
fr avatars would work!
also, a note to skinners; consider what you can do with original characters, especially in the charlton/watchmen way.
who has originals? unkoman comes to mind, and so does wasname? turtleman, titan that hosted BAD's comic and chatroom.
who wants to skin for my mod? i make a vow to release, if ppl are interested.
i've said before that if people will mail me voice pack scripts then i can produce them. I have a lot of professional actors who would LOVE to do it.

do you have any original characters daglob? if not, a re imagining of some of your mainstream skins, in the way that alan moore took the charleton characters and made watchmen.
example, instead of wonder woman, 'the Amazon'. and a skin based on what you think the amazon would look like.
This is just a rumble mod, is it? So there's no story or anything?
If so, feel free to use any of my skins. If they come with hero files, you can edit them however you like. If they don't... just make something up.
yeah, not much story. more like a winnable skirmish with leveling of the characters.

Archetype! Sort of like Dial H for Hero, he or she can briefly become one of a number of archetypal heroes, ie; supersoldier/patriot, flying uber type, spooky detective, powered armour/gadget guy, fish man, super speeder, magico! etc.
Nostalgia! dresses and uses items from the past as a gimmick/costume. Hula hoops, antique coke bottles, vinyl records etc are all weapons. Fear the power of the past!
Arbiter! Sent to earth to settle a dispute between two alien races as to who conquers the planet, The Arbiter fell for an earth woman, and became our protector. Tough, able to fly, super intelligent, emotionally disconnected, except for the woman he loves.
PotPourri! controls minds through the hypnotic scents she concocts and throws on her scent-bombs.
Vendor! Inherited a magic box which can supply weapons, medicines, transport, etc but only once an hour, and at a cost!
Rubber Chicken! A goofy jokester who's vulcanized body is impervious to weapons, but vulnerable to extremes of temperature.
Sanctum! Her psionic shields can protect or imprison, as long as she maintains concentration.
I have plenty of original characters that could be lent to this mod. but would need to a sample voice pack script to go from.

If i ever get to finish making my original characters, it would be an honor if they were included in this mod. But, i'm not really good with making good hero files or costume designs either. :P
I will definitely give it a try though. ^_^

I've had original characters since I was 10 years old;
Besides The Glob, we have Mystery, Legion, The Monster, Morgue, Captain Alabama (you gotta have Captain Alabama), The Blot, Gravedigger, Red Shift, Liquidator, Cudzu (although he looks funny as an Ent), Doc Stonehenge, Agent, Redhawk, Ishtar, Eclipse, Stardust, 'Possum, Haint, Aftershock and Richter, Death's Head, Decibel, Callisto, The Scarlet Scarab (not exactly original), Singularity, Gauss, Mechanique, Mini-Max...
Not all of 'em have skins, but that's not a problem. Been gonna do Gravedigger on Pulp Versatile anyway.

Mystery, Legion, The Monster, Morgue, Captain Alabama, Blot, Red Shift, Cudzu, Redhawk, Ishtar, Eclipse, Stardust, Death's Head, Decibel, and Mini-Max do have skins (some more than one). Some aren't very good (they stink), but they do have skins. One or two even have hero files.

thanks for asking. i've gotten all the skins and meshes downloaded from all the volunteers, but then i got a little down. i'm back up again, and will start working on it probably monday.
making progress. i hope you guys don't mind me tweaking the hero files a little to generate cohesiveness. also, i need at least 4 bad guys for each hero! which are bad guys?
