Title: Stephanie Brown
Post by: Yay_brains on March 05, 2009, 12:53:09 AM
i'd appreciate someone bothering with stephanie brown from the batman continuity. In Spoiler getup and possibly in her costume from her brief time as robin. Not the most popular character from what i've heard. I'm new to the community though so feel free to laugh at me if I just missed someone already doing thisun.

amending this the request is actually for the orginal game rather then the sequel.

I remember seeing a Spoiler skin on the Shadow mesh somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember where...

I would like to see this be made as well.  Steph, is a cool character and I even liked the idea of her as Robin (not at Tim's expense but who says their can't be two robins...)

Podmark did a really good Spoiler on a mesh called r_nld.

I'm certain you can find it in his Yahoo group, as it's not on HeroForce.

If not, I can send it along. However, I have the files only in dds files, so that means it's only going to work for :ffvstr:.

While neither of the converters I have will convert the DDS files back to TGA, and Photoshop does not seem to save a DDS file in TGA format, you can copy the art from a DDS to a new TGA and save it that way. May have to change the thing from indexed color, too; I've only done it once, and don't remember all the steps (as it was trial and errors-a lot of them). If it comes to it, I wouldn't mind changing one or two (especially if I don't already have the skin).

Photoshop does save DDS to TGA and vice-versa however you have to have the Ndivia driver properly installed and know what the setting mean (There are lot of way to save DDS files and the guys at Irrational did it wrong).

Ah! I do have the Nvidia driver installed, but have no idea if it is installed correctly, and I have no idea what the settings mean.

Bill, producing kamakaze artwork at it's least.

Well you don't need Nvidia drivers (even though I think my laptop does), you just need to install the file in the correct add-on folder in PS. I had this problem a couple of  months ago. As for the setting, I could post a tut of converting to DDS the correct way if it means helping others no longer have pink pieces in-game.

I have Nvidia drivers because I have an Nvidia card.

A tutorial would be most welcome. My way works, but there's gotta be an easier way.
