For those of you like myself with a fond remembrance for bad 80's action movies...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/
Sylvester Stallone's latest flick about mercenaries in the jungles of south america is set up to be the end all, be all of retro mindless action.
Confirmed cast members at this point:
Sylvester Stallone
Jason Statham
Jet Li
Mickey Rourke
Dolph Lundgren (YES!)
Forest Whitaker
Danny Trejo (if you dont know, look him up and be excited)
Randy Couture
and a cameo by Arnold Schwarzenegger
Oh YES!!!
I could care less if the plotline is as thin as tracing paper.. just as long as we get to see all of these guys just eating the scenery with one-liners and shooting/killing anything or anyone bad that moves.
It's about time that a film maker (especially Stallone who figured if anyone had to make it - he should) decided to make a tribute to the '80s "handful of heroes vs an entire bad guy army" films.

YEAH!!! Awesome!
I see two things wrong with that cast... no JCVD or Cheech Marin!
Add 4 more to the missing in action list:
Chuck Norris
Carl Weathers
Mel Gibson
Michael Dudikoff
I say with them, this movie would be a lock. Ooh, one more; Bruce Willis. My head would explode.
Chuck Norris has ruined everything he touches since about 1984...
No Chuck Norris.
I will only accept chuck in the cast, if they manage to resurect Bruce Lee, so he can show up and whoop his arse all over again.
QuoteChuck Norris has ruined everything he touches since about 1984...
Walker, Texas Ranger was pretty cool. So was Sidekicks. That's all his stuff I've seen, though.
Chuck is a decent human being but he and stephen segal are low on the Charisma and emotion meter when they act.
My eye started twitching when I saw that list. Wow. I hope they can get JCVD too...
