Title: ffx and mods on the mac version of freedom force
Post by: avanevery on February 17, 2009, 10:31:34 AM
I found a copy of freedom force for mac recently to play on my macbook, and I remember how much I liked Dr. Mike's Strangers mod. I was wondering if there is some way to add mods like this into the mac version of FF. Thanks for your answer!

Welcome to the forums, Avanevery. :)

IIRC there was a tool for using mods with FF on the Mac. Maybe someone else here remembers this? Otherwise, can you run mods which aren't packaged within an installer? If yes,, I could unpack the Strangers and post the files for you.

(For the record, I'm now on a Mac,but I've beeen running FFvsTTR through virtualization, not natively.)

Actually, I think Ren used to have the Mac installer on his site. I don't think it's there anymore.

thanks for the replies! if there are mac-friendly files you could post that would be great. I have looked, and I have not seen any mac versions of the mods
