Howdy guys, I guess that this is as good a place as any for this post. I am working on my Aquaman campaign, and I'm having a bit of trouble with the first map, or rather, with an object on the first map. Tiobe made me a bulk freighter mesh, which I've incorporated into FFEdit by copying a building and changing its mesh location. However, when placed on a map, I can't place anything on it, like I would be able to with a building. It doesn't seem to be the result of the bounding box, as when I open it up in Nifskope, I can't even see the bounding box (in so much as it doesn't seem to be any bigger than the mesh itself). Have I missed a step here?
OK Stupid question, do you know for sure that it has a bounding box?
Try changing its template type form building to generic and place it again. Can you grab it and move it around in the editor? Can you place things on it when set to a different type?
I just found this relevant thread (http://freedomreborn.net/archive/index.php?topic=44013.0) in the archive. Perhaps it or a PM to Lunarman might help.
Thanks Ernest! I appreciate the effort you went to in order to dig that out for me. :) I need to do some experimenting, and I'll post about this when I have established a few things.
