iv tried a few times to get contact with onslaught the original creator of stryfe i think. no such luck :(.. and i think this a skope that should be shared :thumbup: is there anyway to get permission to release it? :wacko:

i have alot of skopes and updated also requests ones i skope from day one that are alot better then the first ones i done over the past few months to release
im just so far behind on things i cant catch up.. but hopefully soon..

While I think it's VERY admirable you've been trying to get ahold of this person.. after a certain point I think you need to reverse your thinking. If the person never said anything "against" having their material hexed... consider that an implied approval.

Wouldn't ow_tiobe_sb getting permission to "fix" the mesh extend to someone else that was able to? Kind of wondering how you got the mesh in the first place :huh:
For what it's worth the nifskope permission list will only list mesher's permission who have contacted us with their decision.
With people we can't contact I'm leaving them out. But I suggest taking the Webrider example for people we havent' been able to contact.

I was under the same impression that Onslaugh13 gave that permission when ow_tiobe_sb started working on adding animation to the mesh he had.... I even remember a post somewhere that stated that Onslaugh13 would be happy to see it released if anyone would be able to make the character functionional at all in the game in one form or another - he just could not finish what he started.

its a really tough choice i have to make on this without a problem..
but i did recall. it was up for on the open list but im not for sure
it was not animated no bips, just a, i guess you could say a model..
but i guess ill ask ow_tiobe_sb.. see what his thoughts are...
also its skinn already.. looks awsome..
From the information given in this thread and other threads, it seems that the skope should get released to the public. It was handed out to others in the hopes of getting it working and animated and you accomplished that. Just release it, you would be within your rights. :)

I should clarify my post with this specific situation. It seems (though I'd double check) that onslaught wanted this mesh to get edited so it could be released. Based on that I would have no problem with it's release.
