Ah Hollywood, bastion of communication and creativity.

Quote. As a reader, you should certainly consider the possibility that I wrote ****** scripts they simply didn’t want to make.

Definitely wouldn't be the first time. Still, this seemed like a very cool movie and without any kind of replacement, it's a shame. :( I wonder if DC will be able to turn any of their other characters into a good movie and if so, which character that would be.

Another reason to hate the idiocy of Hollywood.

Hadn't thought of the Rock as Black Adam. I like it. Too bad this didn't work out.

Did they ever do much in the Timmverse with Cap? I imagine he'd work fantastically in animation.

Just his brief appearance in Justice League Unlimited... and the writers did the best they could to drum up interest in making him appear in his own spinoff show with his family. Instead we ended up with the Krypto toon which was targeted completely at kids who liked JLU and superheroes but more slapstick humor and simple plots with cute animals.

I'm thinking that Shazam! will make an appearance in Batman: Brave And The Bold in their second season and probably after they have Superman appear in a few episodes. The humor level of the show and the silver age feeling would make a good home for a hero like Shazam in my book.

So this movie is on track to be made? The Rock would make such a great Black Adam!
