The yellow color on the arms and legs doesn't seem to match the yellow of iron lantern's mask. I'm not really sure if it's supposed to be that way though. :unsure: I tried googling some reference pics and the yellow of the arms and legs match those in a toy figure. The yellow mask match those seen in the comics. :unsure:

They match.....at least on my computer.... :huh:
oh sorry...still at the office....guess i can't really trust my pc at the office nowadays.. :doh:
They don't entirely match on my computer either, actually. I think the reason is the limbs have more of the orange shadow tone, while the mask only hints at it.
Something else seems off to me. Like maybe the green doesn't have enough contrast? Or maybe just depth to its shadow? I know, you're trying to skin incredibly brightly coloured metals, and that's tough. Still there's something I can't quite put my finger on.
It's still cool though. I'm glad you took on this character.

Thanks. It was a really easy design to work with. I did not add any reflection to the lenses. I didn't feel it was necessary.

A quick question to whoever, Is it hard to scope things to the feet so they will raise the height where the origingal mesh sits? Skin looks very nice! :thumbup:
NightBLUE, BLUEstreak... am I the only one noticing a pattern emerging here?
Pretty good stuff here, though I'd maybe clarify the edges on Bluestreak to further separate the darker and lighter ares, particularly the big S.

yeah, thats the one i'm talking about.the perfect mesh to skope it from would be gren's silver surfer mesh.shrink the board,add wheels, and give it a rocket exhaust for dramatic effect.the keyframes are perfect.was always a cool 80's character.the prowler was another cool character.

Billdamn's skins/skopes can normally be found at New Power INC (http://newpowerinc.com). However, he's had some RL difficulties the last couple months and some things didn't get up.

Well, I got my computer back......... I lost everything!
This is the third time I would have to start over from scratch, and quite honestly I am not sure I got it in me to do this time. Hopefully I backed up enough of my work to disc. I'm not even sure where my photoshop disc is!?! I apologize to all at NPI. Hopefully I can come back from this.
I know how frustrating it is to lose everything on your PC. So I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you do return to skinning.

I'm a fan of your work and I do have alot of your releases ... if you need any of them emailed back to you, just say the word!

I appreciate that you saying that about Ocelot, UnkoMan! Yeah, he is a bit of a trickster which may make him look non threatening....but he's actually pretty formidable. I may post some fiction that a friend of mine wrote about a one on one gaming session (pnp stuff...BASH UE) we did with Ocelot recently.

he reminds me of some characters i came up with years ago. a team of armored villians all patterned after insects.all their armors increased their strengths and resistance but each has specific abilites. BLACK HORNET:leader. flight and electro-sting. KAY-T-DEATH: sonic wings and leaping abilitiy. FIRE FLY: flight and flamethrowers. SLAYING MANTIS: martial arts expert and razor forearms. BATTLE BEETLE: big hulking tanker. super strong and a walking built in arsenal of weapons. :P

The Gnat looks awesome.
That is a cool concept and very nice design, I could see a Gnat comic drawn in the style of Ditko or Allred.
I have missed commenting on your excellent work here lately, and it is high time I rectify that. Your Ocelot skins are both great. Good color work on both of them, very vibrant. I really like your Gnat, though. That helmet design is great! That looks like a great skope as well as a great skin.

I really have to agree with Benton, that is one beautiful skin. Not only are the shirt and colors well done, but the guns and other extras are absolutely solid. As for the skope, I couldn't have finished it without Hoss, all I did was a little copying and pasting. AA and Hoss did the majority here.
