I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a 3d sculpted (like those awesome batarangs out there) white boomerang fx?
I have been using the brown, paper thin boomerangs from EZFX but I'd like to have some better ones for my Captain Boomerang to use?
Bump, this is a really old thread but I've once again been sucked back into FF....
There are boomerangs on Grenadier's Boomerang mesh that can easily be made into thrown FX. However, I'm not sure if there's permission to release something like this.
there are also some really nice ones on Crusader/Saracen Captain Boomerang mesh but the same thing problably applies there....
Actually, after checking the permission list, I believe there will be no problem with making a skoped FX. I just need to find a suitable end.nif. Also, is this for the FFvTTR or the first game?

The end nif is not so important as I intent to make several versions (explodorang and such) but a basic end nif would be good.

I have a boomerang FX that is a skope of Ren's batarang, one that spins vertically and one that spins horizontally. I was planning on releasing it with a new skope of Captain Boomerang that I am working on, based on Gren's Boomerang mesh with parts from Saracen's version. I should have a preview soon :thumbup:

I basically did what Tap did, though his might be better. This is basically the boomerang from Saracen's mesh skoped onto Ren's Batarang FX.

It's funny that TAP mentioned his skope, because I skoped the same thing! I changes the scarf, though, and tried to skope a piece for the legs..
Anyway, an fx for updated boomerangs would be most welcome.
