I meant to post this earlier.

Neal Adams' art will often be remembered as the iconic picture of Superman breaking out of kryptonite chains or his version of a more modern, dynamic Batman. I always think of the Adams/Giordano Legion of Superheroes group flight artwork from the 1976 DC Super Calendar.
I am not the person to recount Adams' footprint in the world of comics as so many others here know the comics history better than I and have the skill to recognize the talent better than I. But, Adams is an artist whose art looms on the covers of so many comics the way those comics loomed over much of my young life.
