I got this idea from Glitch Girl's topic. 

With several decades of comic book stories and a plethora of attempts to re-boot continuity by both DC and Marvel, many writing and storyline mistakes have been made, and the question is what characters and storylines would you like re-write and what would you do different?

static's origin needs a bit of work.  The current DCU version doesn't really have a backstory.
