Hi everyone,
Back to skinning mainstream characters and focusing on skinning all of the characters from Project Superheros and its spin offs...Wow the universe is really growing...
First up....Captain Future...Who was this guy and who is he now??
http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w330/Sioux_City_Dynamo/SCD_dynamite_captain_future.jpg
Let me know your thoughts...
I've always been a big fan of your work man...but I gotta tell ya somethings on this skin just kinda don't work. Maybe its the photoskinning here thats needs work especially the face but also the bottom of his "trunks" need to be defined and the colors need to be cranked up...a lot. And the lightning bolt on his jersey needs to be worked on and made larger as well. ;)
Ok everyone,
Re-tooled Captain Future a bit based on the feed back. Also, changed the mesh. Let me know your thoughts......

Hi everyone,
Another character leaps from the pages of Project Superpowers into Freedom Force....This time it is The Arrow...
http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w330/Sioux_City_Dynamo/SCD_dynamite_arrow.jpg
Any feedback is appreciated.
Respectfully
I'm still not too crazy about Capt Future. To me he looks too flat. Not that he's missing highlights... but rather lowlights and/or shading to help bring in the depth. The Arrow, suffers less from the problem... but with Capt Future... it stands out because of the exposed skin areas. The opposite would be to increase the highlights... but IMO that'll pull away from your style.
I'm not familiar with the character, but I like the skin. Suggestion though, maybe darken up the forehead, but otherwise looks really good.
Are the faces photoskinned? They have alot of character and add alot to the skin.
I agree with HQ though, i think there should be some more shading just to enhance the sense of form.
The Arrow looks to be wearing a cowl? Some draping Highlights and shadows would enhance this IMO.
You liked PS, eh?
Did you ever read Tom Strong? It basically has the same characters, since theyre public domain. To be more accurate, the miniseries Terra Obscura has the same characters, but Tom Strong is where they started.
Any chance of us getting some Tom Strong love?
i am so glad you made the arrow!the more dynamite characters the better!the other guy looks cool too dynamo!will be looking for arrows release!
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the feedback I appreciate it.
HQ/Artemis/Cyburn, I am not an artist so any suggestions or direction you might provide would be most appreciated. If I were to play with low lights/shading and draping highlights how would I best approach this? Any suggestions on tutorials?

Hi HQ,
I rotate between Strangefate, C6 and Googleplex. Also, I tweak the base with either photos or the face bits pack.

Hi everyone,
Back with Captain Future....I played a bit with shadows and highlights and believe this version is better.....

And also I have for your review, the Super American......

Please let me know your thoughts!
Now onto the Ferret!!
Nice skins.. I like the Super American a lot! Great skope, too.
Captain Future's face is looking real good
Nice work SSD
Very nice to see the Project Superpowers gettin' some spotlight ;)
I want to do some myself, but I'm kinda busy for a minute
Keep it up,the more PSP the better :D
Also, just thought of this, but maybe a hex of Ren's Superman would work better for Cap Future, just a suggestion.
Hi everyone,
Thank you very much for the feedback....I appreciate it..
Bloodshadow...interestingly enough, I did use Ren's Superman body on his stripesy mesh for Captain Future...Great minds think alike...
Now, below please find The Ferret from The Protectors....Love the hair...Bearded you are a genius....

Hey Sioux, I like how you're progressing with your stuff. The only question I have is: why don't you ever post the pic in your threads instead of the link?
It makes it a lot easier for lazy people like me that don't like to click extra links  But nicely done
it does look good. i wasn't sure about the expression at first, but then i looked at it again. subtle levels of ego, yes? good job.
and i'm beardinlair@aol.com
dynamo, you know how i feel about any PSP characters.you can do no wrong with them but then again your stuff is top notch so no negative's here.also..ferret is very cool.nice hair bearded.cant wait for super american!
Great work on Ferret SCD!
The Ferret looks like a cool character. Great job on this one Dynamo and Bearded. :)
Hi everyone,
Seems like I have been gone forever from the boards.....Pee Wee football is really taking the time but we are having fun. In between practice and work I have been able to pull together another of the Project Superheros characters. This time, the first of the adult women to return....Masquerade!
As always, any thoughts or suggestions are most appreciated!
Hmmm...seems like about time for a release as I have several skins/hexes complete and ready to go.
Respectfully,
Not really famaliar with that character, but that looks great. And oh great to see you back.
Masquerade looks great dude
I can't wait to get my hands on her!(OK that sounded wrong )she is very cool though.
Hey SCD, I just started reading PS, and I am really enjoying it, so I am excited to see that you are skinning these characters. I can't wait until you get to Black Terror. He's my favorite so far. :D These look great, man! I think you could thicken the mask on Masquerade a bit, but that's the only nit I can see to pick.
Hi Benton,
Thanks for the kind words and suggestion.
I have already done black terror. He is at NPI. I do plan to redo him at some point with cutlass.
Respectfully,
Wow! Look at all of these PS characters! These are beautiful, SCD! Black Terror and Samson are especially awesome.
yes Dynamo,...release! ( your biggest fan! )

Great skope/skin! I really like how this one came out.
Very cool skope. That's all I can say.
I've always liked that particular costume of Masquerade. Quite a difficult character to skope/skin in my opinion. So..i think it's an awesome job.
I think Benton's right about the mask though. And IIRC i think she also wears red gloves in that costume. :)
Hi Outcast,
Nice catch on the gloves. I had noticed that and have updated the skin, Just have not updated the preview picture.
Respectfully,
She's really great can't wait to snatch her up ( That sounded wrong too.)
SCD, I ran right out and downloaded all of these wonderful toys the other day, and when I installed them today I found that your F-Troop download is corrupted. I think it is most likely the KFs. The rest of these are fantastic, though! :D
:EDIT: Nope, not just the KF's, as I replaced those. I don't know what the issue is, but he looks like melted wax.
i just stuck the skin on tj's punisher.thats a fun storyline to play.four heroes and a bunch of f-troopers.cant wait for them Dynamo!
Hi Benton,
You are the second person to let me know there is a problem with the F-Troop. The mesh is fine on my machine (although he has a few floating pieces....).
PM me your e-mail and I will send you the .nif that I have on my system. When I do my next upload to NPI I will re-rar the one from my hard drive and have it uploaded.....Also, I plan to re-hex this mesh from Renegade's take on TJ's AIM mesh so that it will not have the shadowing issues in :ffvstr:.
Respectfully,
could I have that nif also?Having same melty prob
Please? :)

Hi everyone,
Another from the Project Superpowers universe finished! Fighting Yank joins the team. When released it will come with two skins- 1 normal for how he appeared in the first series and one alpha enabled ghost for his appearance in the second.
As always feeback and suggestions are appreciated.
Respectfully,
As always,awesome job dude!
Are you going to do Yanks original look also?Just curious :)
I really love your work. I've ordered all the Project Superpowers books and added the series to my weekly comicbook stack because of you! I'm going to be homeless soon, but it's worth it! Are you planning on doing any more heroes like the American Spirit, Lady Satan, The Woman In Red, Truth, Dare, The Ghost (my favourite!) or villains, such as The Supremacy or The Patriots?

I had that problem too. I ended up just scoping some hair on TJ_Punisher and putting that in the nif's place.

While I was at it, I pulled together a new skope and updated my F-Troop skin....This should work much better in :ffvstr: :)

I'm lovin' your run of PSP skins, keep it up my NPI brother
dynamo, your biggest fan says...two thumbs up.cant wait for their releases.
i love your projekt superpowers stuff ..plz more
I really like how distinct your skins look. No critiques from me.. just keep them coming! :)
One critique about the F-Troop fellas is that the eyes appear a little too droopy. Eyelids, a little too long. Maybe just add some more shadow under the brow, on the upper part of the eyelids?
Fighting Yank's wrinkles could use some work, but... well wrinkles are quite hard to do. Maybe go a little subtler on them? Stick to key areas? I dunno..
Anyhow, still, good stuff. Keep on pumping out the things people don't even know they want until they realize they can have it.
I really like the boots and pants. Great work Dynamo! :)
Hi everyone,
Not sure why I did this....but here is Captain Flag....he and his eagle friend are ready to join the fight in FFvsTTR!

I utilized a combination of C6's male grim and googleplexs male muscular for the human half of the keeper of the grove.

well dynamo, you know you get a two thumbs up from me. cant wait for your releases! did you ever get that hydroman idea pm i sent a while back? anyway..great stuff buddy!

I think if you put some vertical lines (wrinkles) in the skirt portion like your previous version they would look perect.
I love these Super Powers characters!
Ahh, that is an improvement. Yes, I think some wrinkles would be a good idea. :)
With the level of detail you do, it really does need some wrinkles to match- other than that it's perfect.

Fantastic! You captured that "I'm evil and better than you" look the Dynamic family has.
Hi everyone,
Sorry I have not been around or contributing in quite some time. Seems like RL is keeping me busy and I am not getting a chance to make characters .
Well, at least I have had a chance to skope and skin another Project Superpowers character. This time I have tried to tackle the Human Target. A long time ago HeroDad passed some suggestions on to me and I finally got around to doing them and I think they turned out great! I added an animated texture to TJ KC Flash, a head fin and some googles and I am pretty happy with how he came out! Please take a look at the following and let me know your thoughts.

That Superfriends one is really good. I mean, it looks alot like the cartoon one.
will these be released at npi? i'm looking forward to putting them in my game.
That Police Corps looks really cool. And nice job on the Wonder Woman set, I like the last two best.
The police guys are awesome. I really like the one with the shield and baton.
Wonder Woman looks great.. I particularly like the two Lyinda Carter Wonder Women.
they all look great! glad you liked my human target idea. cant wait to add him and the cops to the PSP roster.
I agree with the guys, the Lynda Carters are the best.
Hey SCD, you know I love the Police Corps., and I do have to agree, the one with the riot shield is just too awesome. I know those skopes gave you innumerable headaches, but they are excellent. Great work, man.
Good work on the Wonder Women, too. I agree that the Super Friends one is the best. She's just so colorful and cartoony, just right for the source material.
Wonder Woman looks terrific. You should put the Lynda Carter skins on the Wonder Woman Ink mesh. It had hair more close to her hair in the show. She looks great.

Some really nice looking, cool stuff here.
Great work, thanks.
That's some nice skins there. Especially the swat skins, those really cool.
I really like the Mockingbird, is that based on Gren's Electra?
Incredible job on those photoskins Dynamo. My favorites would be the TV versions of Linda Carter as Wonder Woman and Joana Cameron as Isis? on the center. ^_^
I'm not sure who that character is with the Police uniform and shield but he looks really cool as well.
Great job on those Valkyries too. I like the green one best especially the face. :)
And as far as i can tell, everything you did on Mockingbird's costume looks perfect. :panice
Really cool stuff, SCD! Love those police officers.
I really like your skin of Mockingbird. Great job!
Very nice looking Mockingbird, Dynamo !
They're all great, but the Amazon sisters and the "Isis Team" are specially good. The clothwork in Mockingbird is very good too.
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Yes, Mockingbird is a skope of Gren's Elektra. I really like that mesh and the wire frame for it.
I have other skopes on the Elektra mesh that I am working on.....

A lot of really great stuff. I like your choice of characters. Different yet recognizable.
Really cool stuff SCD, is the falcon skoped onto the captain flag?

So it is Chesire.
It's Kitana! The JLA fight the other Earth's version of the Outsiders (and the Justice League from Detroit) in that animated flick. Great job on it!

This is all really great work, SCD. I personally love the way the vampire came out.
Very nice work on these latest ones SCD! I like that first werewolf skin quite a bit. They all look great, though!
Awesome Were-Wolves.
great skins
Great job on the new skins SCD. Especially on the furry ones. :)
I dunno, Dynamo, but that looks more like one of the vampires from Salem's Lot.
Still, he looks fantastic. Great work on all the stuff.
Now, when can we get them?
QuoteI dunno, Dynamo, but that looks more like one of the vampires from Salem's Lot
Ya know, daglob, now that you mention it....
I kind of thought it might have been an old tip of the cap to the silent classic, Nosferatu. Either way, it looks great SCD.
Salem's Lot vampires do look a lot like Count Orlock (I think I read somewehre that it was on purpose). I've tried to find something that would do for that crazy coat he wears
Hi guys,
Great detective work on the vampire...I was shooting for the Master from Salem's Lot with a heavy influence of my Nosferatu character from Vampire the role playing game....All are based, I believe, on Count Orlock....
I am working on other monsters and will release all together.

you know i like everything you make bud. it looks great but isnt V-man thicker built? maybe use ren's superman or his kingdom come superman. another idea would be make him radiate some kinda radiation like he did in the series. just some helpful suggestions for my super polite friend. :)

Great skins and skopes, SCD! I really like the one in the middle.. is she from The Batman? She looks a lot like one of the Penguin's assassins.
I feel the same way about Gren's Lady Sif mesh.. truly inspired work. If only I could skope.. Coldheart, Magik, random Amazons.. oh man.
Oh wow, amazing work on mockingbird and the others. the seams are especially well done
Wow! Really nice work on Mockingbird and company. Their costumes are excellently detailed. Also, I love your Frankenstein's monster! He's perfect!
Hey cool, Finese! And that's a great Mockingbird. Not familiar with the other one.
Hi everyone, Thank you so much for the feedback. Any suggestions for how to improve?
LP..you are correct. The pink one is from the Batman and is one of Penguine's assassins. I call her Flamingo. Also, when I run out of ideas for Electra I will be focusing on the Sif mesh - so if you have any thoughts (and reference material) I would really appreciate it....So far I plan Sif herself, Xena (I know but I use to love the show) and possibly Katana and/or Tsukuri.
By the way, below is another one completed...not sure I am happy the way the stripe came out on the skirt but I think there is some warping from the mapping...

I love all the subtle details in your female skins. It makes them all really stand out. Excellent skins Dynamo
Black Cat! Is that her name? That one really stuck out for me.. she looks amazing. Great group of skins all around, SCD. I really like that Judomaster, too. I was going to redo my skin but now I don't have to!
Black Cat is from Harvey Comics. First appeared in something called Pocket Comics and went on to be one of Harvey's longest running super heroes. That was before the company was taken over by a certain friendly ghost.

Hey! You've done that crazy foe of Green Lama's! Cool. Very nice work on her, but the work on the other ladies in that line-up is even better. You're redone skin is really nice. There's something about your work, SCD, that reminds me of vintage comics. I'm not quite sure what it is, but I've always liked it. They just look so very distinct and classic.
I see you've done that female Kato, any plans for the classic Hornet and Kato?
I'm going to try to test that last mission of PS and write those two base scenes soonish. I have the thing pretty much done, I just have to polish it up. :P
I really liked the colors and your clothwork, Dynamo. Judo Girl and the Black cat are specially good. Cat looks like she just came out of the classic comics!
I really like your style and choice of characters, The new Judogirl is even better than the first. You've really gained a lot of ability to put personality into your faces.
nice work Dynamo! you are a very talented guy! always liked your work bud!
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate them.
Benton, I plan to do the tv version of the Green Hornet and Kato in addition to the new comic with the female Kato. I am not sure what it is about this Dynamite comic but I really like it!

These are great SCD  ! Are these scopes, or is the shield alpha'd out?
My only critique would be where the boots go from leg to foot, the color change seems a little strong.
But as always, I love the skins that you're showing us, and I look forward to the next batch.
Stellar work on the Namora/Namoritas and the Caps, SCD. That Zombie Cap is just awesome.
Super Soldier is great! The shield is specially good.
Great series of Shield Slingers Sioux they're all great and the zombie Cap is the icing on the cake.
Absolutely love these! Cant wait to get my hands on them! Especially Zombie Cap and Super Soldier! :D
Colonel America! Awesome. :)

I don't think I'm familiar with most of those guys but they're really great skins. I'm really impressed with your work.
Sheesh SCD! You're getting down-right prolific! These are excellent man. I love the subdued detail of your style man. It is so unique. These are all great, but my favorites are definitely the top one and the one second from the bottom....hah, the ones I am completely unfamiliar with. The face, symbol, and armor pattern of the top one are all really well done, and I guess I just love the colors on the other. Also, the grimace on USAgent's face is utterly appropriate. Nice choice.
I'm impressed with the clothwork and the skins color. They give an unique look to your skins.
really cool skins and skopes scd. i've been wanting to try my hand at learning to skin, and i wanted to my first skin to be cap, but the feet were mapped different then the base skins. if you dont mind me asking, how did you get tpast that?
Hi Amazo,
I encourage you to take a stab at skinning...If I can do it, I am sure you can as well.
In order to skin some of Tommy's new meshes, you will need to adjust the base you are using based on the different mapping. I make my adjustments one color, one skin at a time with photoshop. If I was really thinking I would edit the base I use and go from there....but, as of yet, I have not done that...
Respectfully,
Also, thanks to everyone for the kind words! Keep that up and I will have to make more...

Nice work, SCD. Your skinning continues to get better and more developed. I like the little details on your Defensor skope.
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the kind words. I have really enjoyed this last batch of skins.
Amazo, yes - all of these are on the same skope except for Defensor and Captain America Jr. They have their own skopes. All use the same keyframes and the best part is that Tommy's keys for this mesh animate capes. So CAJs cape flutters!
Ok...change of gears....Halloween is on its way so it is time for some creature inspired heros....First up:

I do like the second Grundy mesh better.
The new mesh definitely works better for the character. And again, great texture and facial work.
i like both grundies. my only suggestion would be to move up the hair on the second to better match the first. and i'll agree with cyber, great facial work. youre right up there with daglob on that level in my opinion.
The second Grundy mesh is a winner and so is the skin. Great work, Sioux City Dynamo!

Hey, thumbs up buddy. I'm picking up what you're laying down.
Wow SCD, I'm really loving your Halloween themed skins! I'm especially impressed with Etrigan, Ghostrider, and Morbius (sp?). The face on the latter is really good. These guys all really benefit from your style. There's something to them that is fitting for Halloween. I'm sorry I've missed commenting on all of these amazing skins, but your work continues to impress, and its pace continues to amaze!

Haha, wow SCD! Three scary but lovely ladies. I actually think that the Wicked Witch is TOO pretty. Ha, darkening her brow, thickening her eyebrows, and giving her a wart or something might help with that. Other than that, man, great work! :D
Great skins, SCD! I like Baron Blood a lot, and Vampirella looks cool.
You can check out StarSpangled_Kid2, aka Stargirl from the JSA, because she has a hover animation that looks like she's flying on a broomstick. You might be also to skope it so that it looks the same when flying.
These are
scary good, SCD! :D
Spoiler
Wow, that was a bad pun...
Great texture on the Wicked Witch. Elvira's face seems a little off (Not sure what it is though). Vampirella looks good.
I'm really digging Ghost Rider Dynamo.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it....I agree with the Elvira face but not sure how to fix....
Respectfully,

Ohhh....wait a second.....this post is being interrupted.....The Walking Dead have invaded Sioux City.....Several have already turned including one of Sioux City's finest, a couple of minor heros and a citizen...
We need help! We are being over run!!
As always any thoughts or suggestion would be most appreciated.....They could be my last...
Respectfully,
Great work, SCD!
ZOMBIES!!! I love it!
Vampirella is just great, but the Mummy is impressive too. I'm liking your style better and better.
Congrats!
Great skins.
thoroughly disgusting (^_^)b
Living Mummy looks great SSD
Very cool skins
zombies continue to run wild in Sioux City....More and more fall to the plague!
Hey, are those the kids from Angle Grove?
I love the zombie rangers
Nice work SSD!
Super awesome man! I love the Mummy(s), and those zombie kids and heroes are great too!
Oh no not the Power Rangers!
Hahaha!!!
Great work, SCD!
I've never liked the Power Rangers more.
Definitely a must have for my collection. Now where's Simon Pegg and Nick Frost when you need them?
Hi everyone,
I have managed to escape the undead horde here in Sioux City. While hiding I finally had a chance to tackel a request from bigAl...
Also, I have been able to continue skinning tf/tv creations
(http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w330/Sioux_City_Dynamo/psd_tfdreadknight.jpg)
And, lastly, I just need a laugh (in an alternate reality sort of way)!
As always, any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.
Respectfully,
Wonderful. I particularly like dreadknight  looks just like the classic comics. The colors and detail on the jester are great.
I really like how Dreadknight came out.
Who is the first guy?
I would emphasise the Bat Logo a little more, but otherwise looking good. The others are just golden, really well made.
Hi everyone,
Continuing on with skinning all things TF....
This grouping is titled, "What about Bob?"

Very nice.
Your skins compliment Tom's meshes very nicely.
thats perfect ! i absolutely need that jester for my dc earth 2 heroes!!!
do you plan to skin other from earth 2?
Hi everyone,
Below is a WIP...Inspired by AA, I am shifting gears to work on avatars for a bit....First up......
Sioux City Dynamo
(http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w330/Sioux_City_Dynamo/WIP_SCD.jpg)
This is a WIP and could really use some help with the design/look! I was chanelling Superman Electro while working on him and like how he looks but he still needs works. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions on how to make him better.
Also, I would like him to have an effect similar to Tombstone where lightning dances around his body. I have tried skoping the lightning from Tombstone to him but the fx does not work. I am thinking it may somehow how be dependent on the keyframes . Any suggestions on how I could generate something similar?
As always, any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated!
Respectfully,
Nice design. I like what you've got going with the belt.
I think the face is exceptional.
Nice to finally see your avatar SCD. I like it. Though it wasn't what i expected. ( Maybe i was expecting something like Crimson Dynamo or something doh! :banghead:... )
I'm with Podmark on the belt. I like the lightning effect it seems to have.
As for lightning effects surrounding the body, Gren's Electro seems to have that kind of effect but there could be others i'm sure. It's hard to become familiar with all of the meshes. :)
Actually if you want the same effect as Tombstone my Ultimate Captain Marvel is built on it with male basic. http://heroforce.freedomforceforever.com/AfghanAnt/marvel/Mahr_Vehl.zip
I like the general design, and agree with everyone else, I think the belt design is fantastic.
Well, I've got nothing original to say, but I agree with everyone else! :D That is a really neat design, and the belt is, in fact, super awesome.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the feedback and the suggestions! I appreciate it.
AA, I tried your skope but the FX only works with the Tombstone keyframes. I settled on a skope using Beyonder's Human Torch.
With that in mind, here is Sioux City Dynamo complete with lightning fx. Also, the Golden Age Sioux City Dynamo............and wait a minute, when did Sioux City Dynamo visit Angel Grove?
As always, any thoughts or suggestions are appreicated...
Respectfully,
Nothing to suggest, but I am loving the Power Ranger version.
For some reason, the Power Ranger version fits your design perfectly :P
I don't know how much I dig the negative face, personally, but everything else about these is fantastic. The lightning effects really finish it off, and the Ranger version is fantastic. Dig the scale mail arms.
But my favourite, design wise, is probably golden age. What can I say? I'm a sucker for those simple, but awesome, costumes.
great job on your Avatars buddy.
:)
My god...that power ranger version is impecable...(now i want a power ranger version of poltergeist...gah... i need to start skinning!) These are all absolutely impeccable! When do we get to use your beautiful work in game?
:o Funny how you mentioned using a human torch mesh Dynamo. It was the first thing i had in mind to suggest but couldn't remember who made it and where to find it in my hard drive, so i can double check if it was a good suggestion or not. Since i wasn't sure and what particular mesh it was, i didn't go through with it.
Wow alternate costumes...and a power ranger theme doesn't seem that strange an idea in my opinion. :)
Those are really nice character skins, SCD.
Dana
power ranger scd is really cool! alos liking the jseter a whole lot.
Happy Holidays everyone!
I have had the chance to pull together a few new skins....Let me know what you think....Also, I really like the way that AA displays his skins, simple - yet effective! I have tried my hand at a similar style and like the way these came out.
Tried the Tempest mesh from Gren. Really like the way it came out and the way the lighting appears and disappears with different animations. Very similar to the way I envisioned the character.
Had to update my Isis skin to this mesh. This mesh is spot on and beats my skope by miles!
Always wanted to do this guy!!
Same with Doc Samson. Always wanted to skin this character!
As always, any and all feedback is most appreciated!
Respectfully,
These look great. Thanks for updating Isis to Gren's mesh. I was in the process of doing this myself with your original skin, but you've saved me the work. I also remember having a skin of Doc Samson in the costume he had in his own series a little while back. I lost in a hard drive crash and haven't been able to find it since. So, thank you for doing the version I've been looking for. I've always liked it. The face on Fang is awesome. I like the textured feel of his costume, but I think that, perhaps, the highlights are drowning out the colors a bit too much. Maybe reduce the opacity a bit.
Anyway, these all look great and I can't wait until you release them.
Great attention to detail SCD.
Your av looks even better on that mesh! The hair works really well.
These are all great. I really dig the Doc Samson.
I really like the new touches to your avatar. The hair looks very good. Isis looks awesome.
Ahh, nice work on these SCD. That Fang is particularly impressive!
great skins specially your avatar
It's great to see your avatar in another mesh with a (slightly) different look and effects.
Building on the new year new skins theme of others....
I give you another of my favorite guardsmen and not one but two gama empowered ladies!!
As always, any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
With the shadow of her hair, and the angle of the pic, she-hulks breasts look very weird until you look closer
Otherwise all look good. I'm not famialiar with Geiger though. Any chance of doing a Thundra?
Wow, someone actually skinned Geiger. I'm impressed.
Nice skins SCD, keep it up!
I love how Geiger came out. Really great skins, SCD.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the comments. Here is another one. I started this and was interrupted by the Zombie invasion around Halloween.
Finally got around to finishing.
Now I just need a Zord.....hmmmm......
Take a look at the animal/robot forms of the transformers/ voltron meshes at New Power inc. That might give you a start.
Good job on the Pink Ranger. Ah Power Rangers, that takes me back.
Nice on the Pink Power Ranger. If only there were some Puddys around to beat up..
FINALLY POWER RANGERS! I can't wait to see your works, many many works, in action! Quick question, does she have her bow as well?
Hi Docdlorean88,
Sorry, the pink ranger does not have her bow. She is based off of Gren's Huntress mesh and it does not have bow animations. However, she does have her blade blaster...no blade but I like the blaster, and sweet martial arts animations!
Respectfully,
Also, as the year continues, more skins...
Another of my favorite guardsmen! I think I will have to do the entire crew.....Then the X-men for some classic battles!
I had forgot about this character and happened to come across the movie on SciFi over the holiday vacation! Like the way he came out. He is on a skope of Gren's Adam Strange so the rockets fire when flying....Having trouble with the way the flames are looking after converting for :ffvstr: so will have to pm Gren for his thoughts.
As always, any thoughts or suggestions are most appreciated!
Respectfully,
I was just curious. :) Its a wonderful skin, as are all the other! I am now adoring your rocketeer skin! Wonderful work!
QuoteHaving trouble with the way the flames are looking after converting for so will have to pm Gren for his thoughts.
Use the flames from starbolt. They're tga files i got from FFVTR. I don't know what the differences are in their alpha settings between :ff: and :ffvstr:, but if you want to use any fxs for :ffvstr: then you're better off using the games textures.
All of them look great SCD!
Wow. Nice Rocketeer!
This is a really great batch of skins/skopes.
The Rocketeer looks like he leaped out of a comic. Phobia and Nightside looks amazing. I particularly enjoy how Moondragon came out, but might I suggest you make the nose just a tiny bit larger? I would also recommend with Nightside, maybe adding a touch of shadow near the edges of her costume?
Like everyone else, they all look great to me and Rocketeer was the first one that really caught my eye. But looking at Moon Dragon, i have to say i really like how the flesh tones came out. The face looks amazing. Very life like work. Great job SCD!
And i have to agree with LP's suggestion on Nightside.
Love the realism on these, top notch for sure!
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the feedback. I will make the adjustments! :D
Also, Gren, thank you so much for the suggestion! Worked like a charm!
Respectfully,
These are all fantastic SCD, the detailing around Phobia's designs is especially impressive. Nightside is just a plain beautiful skin....however, you know I only have eyes for the Rocketeer! That is an amazing skin! The coat and helmet both look great. I do think you might want to widen (vertically) and lower the mouth grill though. It looks just a little too thin, it seems to me.
http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/r/roketer1.jpg
Either way though, he looks fantastic!
Hi Benton, was wondering when u would see the rocketeer. Wait till u see him in flight w rockets blazing!
I will see what I can do with the face grill.
Respectfully,
I really like how Moondragon turned out. Great job!
Couple more I have been working on....These are titled....how do you like your Nighthawk

I like the work on the zombie face.
Love the Nighthawks, the zombie is great!
Have you thought of doing any DC Black Lanterns?Just asking cause you're awesome at zombies(not a request)
I could have sworn I posted in this thread a few times. I must have just posted in my brain.
BUT! These are lookin' sweeeet! Your textures are always very nice. The faces and little wrinkles and everything... So unique.
I agree that Rocketeer's mouth could be bigger, but other than that... smashing!
The first and third Nighthawk are rocking. 8-)
Nice job on Nighthawk. I always find it neat how you keep doing zombie versions.
I really like the style in your skins, the variety in the faces is great work :)

Hi bloodshadow, thanks for the thoughts. Also, requests are not really a problem. I believe that would show someone is interested. :D However, I would say that requests may or may not be filled. As I am sure you and others will agree there is only so much time. That being said, black lanterns are definitely on the list as I take on DC characters. Any thoughts on which would be best to start with and where a guy could find some reference material?

Hi Podmark, thanks for the kind words. I am a huge an of the marvel zombies and the supreme zmbies. With that in mind I hope to pull together a full set to share with everyone and kick around in the rumble room!
Excellent skinning there. I know they were released a while ago, but checking back your thread, I can't help but notice Fang. That face expression is truly fantastic. Good job.
From Nighthawk, as previously mentioned, I'm digging the zombie version.
Hey SCD, those Nighthawks are really nice, but that first one is a really fantastic skin. Maybe it's just that the design is more my speed, but for some reason I really like it.
Hmmm....Been out of sorts as of late.....Had a chance to play around a bit....

These are great SCD, any chance of a release?
SCD, I love your style. I'm especially digging your Speed Demon
Yeah, cool stuff... I agree, Speed Demon looks fantastic. These are solid.
Whizzer and Power Princess look amazing!
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the comments! Now, a return to the 80's and my favorite cartoon while in college. As a matter of fact, I remember most of my dorm floor crowding into my room daily to watch!
Thunder, THUNDER, THUNDERCATS, HOOOOOOOO!
As always, any thoughts or suggestions are most appreciated.
Great work on the Squadron members SCD! I really like your work on that first Whizzer design, and the last Power Princess. You've got really crisp work there. However, the real draw here, for me at least, is that Lion-O! He looks fantastic! I don't have any advice on him, as he seems pretty close to perfect!
Thanks Benton!! I appreciate the feedback. Are you still up for a Thundercats mod? As you know, I have Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetara and Mum-ra mummy completed. I have Tigra started and thoughts on how to do Willykit and kat...no thoughts on Snarf.
I have some thoughts on the mutants and have started Mum-ra powered!
Respectfully,
If you skin them, he will mod...err...I will mod... :D

Ok....Mutants....Anyone with thoughts on how to skope them, please let me know. Mum-ra mummy already done, Mum-ra powered started.
Also, any thoughts or feedback on the Thundercats is appreciated.
Respectfully,
Very impressive! It's always cool when some uses skoping to recreate characters that were otherwise impossible.
Very nice, I really like your style and that Tygra is spot on. Good job on the rest too.
Now that so many of your awesome and impressive skopes and skins have compiled up and you have kept all of us in such a long wait SCD! when do you intend on releasing them bro? Its been quite a long time and yeah!!! totally OMG work on the Thundercats and quite impressive as well and i totally agree with Pod on the recreation part.
My only suggestion would be to check out Wily-Kat's eyes, they seem a bit off, otherwise, everything here is just WoW!!!
could you use tommyboys lizard mesh as a base for some of the mutants?
Wow SCD! These Cats are looking so fantastic, I can hardly believe it! I had begun to think that I'd never see the Thundercats brought to life like this, and they're just about the last of the great 'toons of my childhood missing from FF (other than G.I. JOE, who don't fit too well). They all look great, but I think that, of the new ones, Wilykit is the best. She's just perfect, spot on! What a great idea, using the surfer meshes as a base. That's awesome. Wilykat looks good too, but I think the mesh keeps his face from looking as close as his sister's does. He looks pretty great, and his hair is really nice, as is his belt.
Then we've got Tygra. How cool! I love that you included the detail of that weird little sleeve on his jumpsuit. The work with his stripes and the texture of his fur is really impressive. I think his orange isn't quite rich/dark enough, though.
http://www.comicvine.com/tygra/29-11140/80s-animated-tygra/108-613020/tygra/105-1965254/
It isn't quite...orange enough...which I know, must be super helpful. :P Darkening that up will also increase the contrast between his tan/white bits.
http://www.comicvine.com/tygra/29-11140/80s-animated-tygra/108-613020/dsf/105-1535494/
However, other than the hue thing, I'd say he's just about perfect! What mesh is he on?
Man, look at that. All of the Thundercats together, all fantastically skinned and skoped...that is just too awesome. Making a mod will totally be worth it to have such awesome toys!
As for the Mutants, I'm not entirely sure. The Lizard has about the right keys for Ssslithe, especially in terms of his idles and general comportment, but Tommy's version of the Lizard is pretty thin, and Ssslithe is pretty stocky...I wonder if skoping him wider would work alright....
Jackalman....hmm....maybe one of the werewolf meshes?
Monkian can PROBABLY use a regular human mesh, just with some somewhat beastial kf's, and perhaps using the Vulture's collar tuft.
Here's some references, if anyone else wants to offer some ideas.

Impressive work, SCD! Your faces are stunning and your clothwork is always improving.
You have an unique, great style.
Congrats!
Holy Batman and Superman skins, Batman!
This amount of content is simply overwhelming!
But I love it all!
Thanks for the release SCD, it's off to download I go!!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the kind words. Keeping with the Superman/Batman theme, I decided I needed some ratzis to kick around in the Danger Room. That said, I give you:

Hi LP,
The UoE stands for Universe of Evil. This is a parallel universe story from the Super Friends when I was a kid. I still have Robin, Aquaman, and Gleek to do. I had previously done the UoE Wonder Woman but may update her with a new skope and skin.
Take care,
Love the individual faces that you give each of your skins, makes you really stand out as a skinner.
Hi Cyberburn,
Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate them!!
Below is another new skin....
On an older, but still wonderful, mesh by Beyonder. I am not sure why I did this particular skin.....I believe it is because this mesh and C6s old skin on it reminded me so much of my Green Arrow mego when I was a little boy. Next to Batman, he was my favorite to play with. Not sure what happened to that action figure....believe it or not I still have my batman and he is in great shape!
Respectfully,
Thanks for the answer. I have to check out that Universe of Evil now.
I particularly like the Axis characters, Ubermensch and Horned Owl. They look fantastic.
Awesome collection Dynamo, one of the World's Finest i'd say ;) Really love the faces on the Bizarro's and impressed with your inclusion of the Universe of Evil characters.
Hi everyone,
I had the chance to read the Kane Chronicles this summer. I really liked them and decided I needed to try my hand at some Egyptian inspired characters. Please let me know what you think of the following:

Also, decided I need more villians so I pulled skinned Diablo
(http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w330/Sioux_City_Dynamo/MV_Byd_Diablo.jpg)
Any ideas for elementals for him to either summon or have as a private army would be appreciated. I am currently considering skinning one of the clayfaces as an earth elemental, the fire elemental from FFvsTTR as fire but would appreciate other thoughts. I am a little stumped for air and water.......
Lastly, have you ever wanted a Super Adaptoid that grows and shrinks (giant/antman - yellowjacket), throws shield (captain american), fires arrows (hawkeye), wields Thor's hammer? Well, I did and because of the hard work of beyonder, tommyboy and bobby69 I was able to pull him together with a little skoping and keyframe editing...
As always, thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.
Respectfully,
Darn you SCD! You've created more work for me! ;) Haha, that Super Adaptoid is just too awesome. I MUST have him! Ha, I had built him into my game already, but your version sounds and looks fantastic.
Those Egyptians are really neat. What are they from?
I love your Diablo skin. I totally need to bring him in with my next iteration of Marvel Adventures. I think you should include some of the greenish highlights for his black costume pieces that his classic appearance has, though.
http://images.wikia.com/villains/images/1/18/Diablo_Marvel.jpg
http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/io9/2011/08/diablo.jpg
Also, I think he'd be improved a bit by adding a gap between his mask and his mustache, as all that black is sort of running together a the moment.
As always, feel free to ignore my comments. :D
I agree with Benton about Diablo, the mask and mustache seem to blend together.
The rest of the skins look great, and I'd love to get my hands on your Super Adaptoid. I would love to use the shield to try and make a shield throw FX for him.

How about one of the Red Tornado meshes (Tommyboy's or the hex by Revenant)? That way you can use the attached whirlwind effects as either an air effect or even as a whirlpool effect for the water elemental since they would need someway to move around on solid ground.
I love the look of the Egyptians. I can't wait to download them. Nice job.
Cool stuff, I particularly like the Super Adaptoid.
Outstanding Dynamo, I really appreciate the extra work you put into each character to make them individual. Plus a wonderful Super Adaptoid, I'll have to pitt him against Amazo in the Rumble Room :D
The Egyptian gods look super!
Nice group of stufff, SCD! I really like Grog's face.
Why are there two Sphinxes?
They are all great, but the Super Adaptoid is just impressive. He will very useful for Mod or for just the good, old, free for all in the Rumble Room.
Great job!

Black Adam is the standout. His face is the best I've seen of the character.
Those are great! You keep filling my requests.
Good stuff, Black Adam and Dr. Fate stand out.
Love them Dynamo, great faces, designs and details.
Well done
Wow, look at all of this awesomeness! How did I miss all this? Fantastic work SCD! Several of these are just flat out great! I really love your Scarab and Wind Warrior. I think the regular Black Adam's eyes may be a bit close set, but that could just be the angle.
Great Stuff, Ibis looks like a boss! i know thats a magic wand, but it looks like a martini.
I especially like the face work and skin/muscle work. I think you can make your own base skin by now SCD. :)
Hey man. Where do you host your skins?
These are really cool, SCD. Now that Detourne_Me mentioned Ibis looks like he's got a martini, I can't get that image out of my head. It makes me like it even more!
I love your style man, and you keep getting better with every skin
Stop teasing us, please! Where can we get those awesome skins?
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all the feedback! Sorry to be so slow with the releases, however, time has been tight and for some reason Yahoo is not allowing me to open a group to post the lasts skopes and skins I have.....Well, I will keep working on it...
In the mean time......more Egyptian inspired fun!

SCD interrupts this broadcast to bring you this important information........Once again, it has been confirmed that the dead are returning to life to hunt the living. I have recently captured the following images. I appears as if some of earths greatest heros have fallen and returned from the dead to join the hoard. The government has yet to confirm this information but believe me it is true. Seek a secure place and I will bring you more information and images as they become available.

i made a female zombie keyframe set for someone. do you have it or want it?
are you using the zombie keyframes, or the ghost keyframes also?
hi bearded these are all on the same mesh and using your zombie keys. i did not know u made female keys. i wuld love them!
Fun stuff! Is that Catwoman?
yes can anyone name them
i just cant pick out the bottom left... is it another cyclops?
and that's u in the middle controlling them all, right?
amaziiiing!!!!!! can't wait to play marvel zombies on :ff:!!!!!

*naitvalis start dance Thriller*
Wow SCD, those guys are pretty darn impressive! The ragged uniforms are particularly amazing.
I'm FAIRLY sure that the fellow on the left there is Gazerbeam, from the Incredibles...which, if true, is sorta' awesome!
http://pixar.wikia.com/Gazerbeam
What gets me is the X-Man on the back right. Who is that?
lol Benton u are right! Anyone else w thoughts on the x characters? sadly they culd have been skoped begter nut hey i was ready to skin!
Great skope work SCD. Nice to see some skinny/bony meshes. It's fun to see Gazerbeam from the Incredibles movie too. But i can't figure out who the other X characters are, aside from Cyclops.
Hey Sioux, where do you host your skins? I see several in this thread that arent on the site thats listed as where you host skins
A Bunch are here if you havn't found it yet;
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/SCDdesigns/files/
Hi AnarchistsXe,
I believe you have identified one of my biggest problems. I really do not have a single location where my stuff is hosted. A lot of my stuff has been posted in yahoo groups. Also, Tommyboy has been kind enough to host some of my skins. Lastly, House Quake was kind enough to include me with the NPI team when he was active......
I guess I should work on finding a home...... :(
If there is something you want but can not find, PM me and I will send it your way. Thank you for your interest!
Respectfully,
Alarm, alarm, alarm.........Once again this is SCD interrupting this broadcast to bring you important information........The undead hoard has continued to grow and is sweeping across not only the USA but other parts of the world. Also, I have been able to confirm that there is an extra-demensional doppelganger of myself at the center of the hoard. However, I have yet to learn its role in the generation of this plague. Additionally, it appears that undead monsters in this hoard represent individuals from a variety of universes and times. This has grown completely out of hand! Conventional attempts to control and stop this menance have met with total failure!!
In view of this, I pulling out my uniform, getting off the bench and doing what I can to help turn the tide against this onslaught! I leave now to meet the hoard head on. I am not sure what I can do, but my hope is to slow its progress. Before I leave I am issueing a "Call to Arms" for all Freedom Reborn members! Who will join me and stand against this latest and perhaps last assualt?
I now have the hoard in sight. I plan to engage....Wait, what is that ripple in the water? It appears to be jeting up the Missouri right toward the flank of the hoard.......
Hark! Do my eyes deceive me, Or is that the affable American Maid among the rotting ranks of the undead?
Oh my Science! something must be done to turn the tide against these gamma-irradiated, 31st century, carcasses of carnage!
You are so right! Sadly it appears that American Maid is a part of the hoard.
A great looking skin and redesign of your avatar SCD. It reminds me of Mr. Incredible in a way. And you should take that as a compliment cause Mr. Incredible rocks! Together with Gazerbeam, if i didn't know any better, someone must have been watching the Incredibles lately. :)
You might have trouble fighting these hordes of the undead. Why? In case you have forgotten, one of em is your brother...(dun dun dun...) :tombstone
Fricking brilliant! Haha!
Those zombies are just the coolest thing ever. They are awesome!

I agree, your new avatar reminds me of Mr. Incredible, which I think is really cool.
As to those other two X-Men, any hints?
The Inliving Xhumed
For sure buddy! Thanks. Looking for all your variations of speed demon/whizzer and also the rocketeer. Email me them at dankarabin@gmail.com. Thank you sir :) Didnt see these on any of your sites for hosting
Hey..just realized...I'm leading a few of those undead members but man, the rot has done anumber of my body! Looks like I need to start hitting more substantial brain holders....Prem will be happy about that, seeing as he has no real brain. :P
There are more of them than I thought.....the undead are all over me. I am not sure how much longer I can hold out.........
Suddenly, a scaled figure erupts from the Missouri.........With a roar, Lord Grey, the undisputed apex predator of the oceam slams into the undead!
From the other side of the undead, I hear shouted, "Its time to heat things up!" With a firey blast, Cyber Burn the pyrotechnic cybernetic mercenary joins the battle!
Ah, those skeletal supers are really cool!!!
But man, I am digging these original characters. Wowie! Lord Grey might be my fave, but I've got a soft spot for silver age, so Dynamo is right up there alongside.
Cyberburn is hilariously '90s.
Right on! I get to fight zombies! Nice skins/skopes for the avatars, I love them.
Those avatars are awesome. Great job on them. I love your designs on them.
Absolutely awesome work!
Wow. Those are very interesting redesigns you've come up for "Lord Grey" and "Cyber Burn". Great way of unleashing your creativity SCD. :kingbethumbup
Hi everyone, thank you so much for the positive feedback!!
Pant, pant, pant...."I must be getting too old for this....either that or the pasta I ate is getting back at me!", says Dynamo....Cyber Burn exclaims, "We are getting no where fast! We destroy one and two more take its place." "Then we must find who or what is behind this invasion and put a stop to it!", growls Lord Grey as he spits a femur from his mouth.
Nice to know that I'm not the only one feeling his age. :P
Ahh, awesome! I'm an underwater bad-a! Haha, that's an awesome design SCD! This whole format is a lot of fun. I love the monstrous elements of that design, with the stripes on the shoulders and the crest and everything...that's really cool.

I am glad you are pleased my Lord! :D
All kneel before the beast from the deep!
It should really go without saying here that I fully support any and all avatar skinning. Can't wait to see these skins up close.
"Cyber, you are so right! We can not seem to get any type of foot hold against the undead! The horde just seems to keep growing!!", says Dynamo.
Suddenly, the Cyber Burn's chest piece begins to flash red. Cyber says, "My sensors are detecting a strange energy surge in the area." "You are not kidding, look in the sky!" roars Lord Grey.
Above our three heros a swirling mass of colors appears in the sky. Slowly, almost painfully, a guant figure emerges from the portal, followed by an errie kackle, the soft ringing of bells and stench of brimestone!

Then again, DJ leading a zombie army is equally ridiculous. All the heroes have to do is stay out of his way until he gets drunk and passes out in a gutter somewhere.

Cupid is a skope using Ink's angel. I am thinking I will need Beyonder's approval to release. Anyone know how to get in touch with him?
Thankfully the combined efforts of Dynamo, Cyberburn, Lord Grey and the military might of Earth's armies were able to repel the undead onslaught led by Death's Jester last summery!
In view of this, the United Nations have taken steps to establish International Superhuman Response Team (I.S.R.T.). The mission of this group will be to provide a superhuman global response to any threat where conventional responses may come to late or prove insufficient. Leadership of this group is under careful consideration but sources close to the UN are confident that Russia's General Winter will play a key role.
Little is know about the mysterious Lord Grey. He disappeared back into the murky depths after the undead onslaught was repelled. There is speculation that he is the member of a previously unknown species of amphibious humanoids that inhabit costal regions. The press has recently named this race of humanoids, "Tritons".
Increased superhuman activity has been experienced across all regions of the Earth. This increased activity has drawn the attention of Zardanna the extra dimensional technological wizard who crashed in remote Sioux City Iowa. This increased activity prompted her to seek out, supply and support a local human champion. Using her vast knowledge of technology and mysticism she was able to craft the suit that provides Sioux City Dynamo his powers. The success of the dynamo suit has resulted in Zardanna crafting four (4) additional suits. One suit grants its wearer the ability to harness and control the four basic elements of the earth. The second allows for generation and manipulation of high voltage while the third suit allows for super human speed. A side effect of the super speed of this suit is the build up of extreme friction. Often the wear of this suit is covered in flames that he has a limited ability to manipulate. The final suit draws upon the greatest powers and adaptations of the reptile world. Each of these suits has been gifted to Sioux City Dynamo's family.

Thank you for releasing all of these amazing skopes and skins... wow, quite a haul.
I gotta say, Death's Jester might be my favorite. He just looks so good and so creepy!
Thank you SCD. Great skopes and skns. I agree DJ is scary.
Ohh man, Santa's tiny legions! Haha, how awesome! Those are fantastic, SCD!
Those Super Troopers look awesome!
They look like a cool mix of a live action Japanese action show and the ROM Spaceknights.
It's really cool that you've turned FF into a family affair, and your skins and skopes turned out great.
More than one champion has come forward from the ocean. Off the gulf coast of Florida a small band of pirates attempting to kidnap the passengers on a yatch had their scheme thwarted by a strange and powerful female humanoid. She has recently been revealed as Lady Grey. She is know across by oceanic evil doers as the BARRACUDA!
Very nice SCD, she makes a nice counterpart for Lord Grey.
Thanks Cyberburn!
Ha! Lady Grey has an avatar! That is great, SCD! She'll get a kick out of this. I can't wait to show her. :D
Sorry I couldn't put the Halloween surprise together in time. I'll hold on to all the bits for next Halloween. ;)
I really love the designs for the Super Troopers. They've got a nice, clean aesthetic. They feel a bit like a space-age Japanese super-team, which gives them a neat air.
The combat elves and actual freaking Reindeer is almost too much holiday cheer to stand! :)
Hi Benton,
Thank you for the kind words! I am really happy with how the Super Troopers turned out. I was going for a Super Sendai type feel for them!
I hope Lady Grey likes her avatar. Seems to me the oceans may be crawling with "Tritons" and there may even be fresh water variations in the great lakes and the major rivers world wide. Rumor has it that a piranha like variety in the Amazon.....I thought you might like to know.
Do not worry about the Halloween surprise. If you are interested in still doing it please go ahead. Also, if you decide to go ahead and need anything let me know!
As far as too much holiday cheer....how can that be?? :P Wait until you see the entire assemblage of the Holiday Heroes. I am planning Santa, Rudolf, Cupid, Lucky, Easter Bunny, the Pilgrim and the Great Pumpkin.
Take care!
Respectfully,
Barracuda is a really cool design, and your sentai troopers came together great. You seem to be really good at finding the right parts for your skopes. I've always found that challenging.
Keep up the great work!
The Great Pumpkin, I can't wait to see that one. Your original characters are fantastic, in both design and execution.
SCD, Lady Grey was introduced to her shiny new avatar yesterday, and I wanted to pass on her enthusiastic approval. She especially liked the claws. Lady Grey, ya'll should know, has the makings of a rather world class supervillain. The face-slashing possibilities of razor sharp claws rather appealed to her. :D
Hi Benton,
Thank you so much! I am so glad to hear that Lady Grey likes the avatar! :) I am also happy to hear that she may have a world domination streak in hear as I had previously started the Queen Grey skin and skope for the next great cross over event in the Dynaverse! "Assault of the Tritons!"

Also, a new hero joins the ranks of the Dynaverse....Bounding onto the scene is that malleable master of justice - Da Glob!

I also thought I should work on rounding out my Squadron Supreme and Supreme Zombie teams. With that in mind, I give you.....

Hi everyone,

Please let me know your thoughts.
Wonderful! :P
Looking good. I like the Wondergirl best.
Glori I'm very excited for this!!! She looks great.
I agree with Pod here, Wondergirl is definitely a standout.
Hey! You're doing that other version of Superlois?
'Nother one off my list.
That Wondergirl is great.
Great looking ladies SCD!
Those skins look great SCD. I'm with Pod and Cyber Burn, my favorite is Wondergirl too.
SCD - Will those be released to Tommyboy's site?
wow! all wonderful SCD! is that superwoman from the animated movie? can't wait to download!
SCD!
These ladies look so great. I have to agree about Wonder Girl, she looks fantastic.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the thoughts! More women of power have heard the call! These are all on the same skope of Gren's fantastic Xenith mesh.

Very nice skins SCD!
I can't wait to get my hands on that skope,I've been wanting more variety for my female designs
Nice! Who are the three characters on the far right?
Good question Helix. Can anyone name all these ladies...from left to right?
Very nice skins SCD!
The one on the back on the left and the three that are on the right, I have no clue who they are, but they all look great. Is this all one skope?
I think the one in the far back (or above everybody else) is Superwoman of CSA infamy.
The one on the very far right, I think, is American Maid.
I think there's only 4, maybe 5 I could name.
What? No one has named these ladies yet? I thought Daglob wuld have done that by now.....
I'll try my best!
Spoiler
Top: Superwoman from CSA
Left to Right: Glory, Wondergirl, ?, Troia, Justice Lords WW, Wonder Woman, ?, SuperLois, ? Liberty Lass?
Detourn-me you r close! Any other guesses?
Third from right: Lightning Lass?
Love the Ladies of Power, Dynamo, always impressed with your variety :)
Is the one third to the right Thunder, from the Legion of Super-Heroes? The future, female Captain Marvel? I think that's her name.
The blue girl with the mask.. no clue!
Great stuff, Dynamo! I really like the Super Friends Wonder Woman.

Bottom: Glory (Image Comics), Wondergirl (DC - the way I grew up!), Dynamaid (Flipside Sioux City Dynamo),
Troia (DC Comics), Wonder Woman (Justic Lords), Wonder Woman (Super Friends), American Maid (the Tick!!),
Marvel Girl (From a picture on Deviant Art, a future possible daughter of Captain Marvel), Ultra Woman (Lois & Clark),

Love your character choices Dynamo and individual appearances, great use of that skope. Nice to see all three different Superwomen plus Venus from Big Bang and Ultra Woman, that's a great blast from the past!
great works Dynamo!
Very cool to see different versions of the CSA Superwoman.

SCD, I showed my wife this alternate version of Lady Grey, and she quite liked it, though she was momentarily very miffed when she thought it had blonde hair. My wife is a brunette, and rather proud of the fact. ;) However, once that was cleared up by my explaining that it was a crown or helmet, she liked how fierce and regal her avatar was. The wife did say she need "more spin-ities to slash people with." She's a tad bloodthirsty and is, at best, one lab accident away from becoming a Magneto-flavored-conquer-the-world-to-save-it style supervillain. Anyway, she really liked it, and so do I! I really love the details of the bracelets and such.
Wow, on to more recent things, that is a whole lot of lovely ladies you've skinned and skoped. I love the work on American Maid and Wonder Girl. That Superwoman is really impressive, too.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.
Hi Benton,
Thanks for the feedback on Queen Grey! I am stuck on her and need to get back to her and finish her off... :( I am thinking I need to skope a gem onto her helm instead of skinning it...Also, not sure what is wrong with the helm reflections...it is from an older mesh and I had to add lighting to it....I wanted the face part to be metallic and the crest part to be something like kelp or some such.....Also, I think she needs a cape or something but the mesh does not have cape animations...Also, what are spin-ities? :P Glad she may have some conquer-the-world-to-save-it style super villain qualities...I picture her as a female Submariner type with you as the "lets help the surface dweller type" caught in the middle!
By the way, which superwoman were you referring to??
Haha, spin-ities, to translate my wife's parlance, are spines and sharp bits on a costume. Yeah, that's a pretty good assessment of our personalities. ^_^ I meant the two on the left.
its really impressive that you got all those superladies on one skope, really nicely done.

Not to be all weird or such, BG, but your wife sounds like my type of person...course she'd probably need that lab accident first before meeting me...lol.

A new hero blows onto the scene in the Dynaverse!

I plan to round out his team with the following members:
Undertow, Ember and Rocksolid!
By the way, the skope is by Windblown himself...I only contributed the skin.
Respectfully,
Very nice collaboration guys. SCD, you're another skinner that has a great eye for design and who also demonstrates some fantastic facial work. I look forward to seeing the remaining team members.
Purty.
Great skin for Windblown Dynamo I think the design and detail are perfect! Very nice Skope too WB.
Very nice, great design!
Really crisp design. I like it!
Very nice!
The skin turned out great :) Looking forward to seeing the rest of the Elemental men.
Windblown looks cool.
Great stuff. I especially am excited about Glory. ( or Glori as I think of her.)
wow dynamo, windblown looks great. the work you do on faces is seriously sweet.
Hi everyone, I am finally back up and running....really got wiped out by some weird malware....totally locked up my system, told me I had violated some really bad laws, and to add insulted to injury, my screen was covered with a big picture of President Obama.......
Anyway, I finally was able to finish the following amazing skope by Windblown

Fantastic as always SCD.
Sweet stuff. Really excited to see Snowbird!
Snowbird looks great!
Ohh, that's terrible man! That whole thing with the malware is quite the scam. I read something about the proliferation of that type of program recently, and it seems they are becoming pretty common. I wonder how much money they make with their "fines." <_<
Wow, that Snowbird is really impressive. Her eyes are just great, SCD!
I love that El Aguila skin, too! He looks dynamite. I can't wait to see Zorro! :D
Hi Bent, thank you for the kind words! Zorro preview is up under requests in your pulp thread. Let me know your thoughts.
Woah, I never thought I'd see El Agulia get an update in my game. I've been rocking Zuludelta's old Agulia skin for years but he was missing a hat and some other bells and whistles. So i'm glad you where able to get all that stuff on this skope and the skin looks great. Is this skope compatible with Male_Basic_Fencer keys?
El Aguila looks incredible, but being an Alpha Flight fanboy I am loving Snowbird.
Great job on them, SCD.
I thought I had responded to this (maybe I never hit submit) but I am super excited to Snowbird skinned and skoped so well.
Sorry to laugh but Ha! That malware warning has been making the blogs lately. I'm glad you sort things out SCD.
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the kind words and support.
Hi Electro, I am glad to hear you like El Aguila! He should work with male basic fencer keyframes. However, he is on a skope of Gren's Fandral mesh. It already has a number of fencing like animations and he can holster his blade when picking up a pole or object. Anyway, let me know what you think after I upload him. Should be a day or two.
Respectfully,
Snowbird looks really fantastic!!
I did, in fact, love your Zorro even more than El Aguila, SCD! These have all been excellent.
And now, from the only current comic I can stomach to read........"Bruce, if it is time you need, I can help with that!"

More Earth 2 goodness to be developed!!
Very nice SCD. Is this on Bearded's new mesh?
Hi cyber, yes this is beaded new mesh w belt alphaed.
Nice job on Supes... I really like how seamless the cape and shield look. Nice details on the boots, too.
That's a really good design for Superman. The only thing I question on the design (not the skin!) is the triangle on his belt. Is it meant to be a buckle? It would have looked nicer with the buckle from his classic look, or even a solid square.
I like it!
Very nice skin!!
Oh no.....worst case scenario for Earth 2!!! Superman is back and he is a jerk (per James Olsen)! Hail Darkseid!!

Love the expression on his face, and I really love the eyes. Very nice SCD.
I don't remember, is the chest emblem a separate Mesh piece? Just curious.
Nicely done. I wouldn't mind seeing more Earth 2 designs from you.
Did you skin the metal chain on his shoulders, or is that skoped?
Cyber's right.. his eyes look awesome. Great face on him.
Hi LP,
The chains are skinned on...I did not think to try to skope something...not sure how I would get them to move with the cape.

That is fantastic SCD, I love the face and the mask.
Awesome! And very timely.
I really like this design and the skin is really nice!
Ya know,You're really making me want to start buying Earth2 :P
Very cool stuff SSD
Oh nice! I really love Earth 2 so it is great to see it get some love.
Yes! Earth 2 Batman!
I bet it won't be long now till we see the Earth 2 Big Three [Flash, GL, Hawkgirl]. Keeping an eye out for this!
Batman looks great SCD!! I like a lot how the costume is skinned.
Heck yeah, let me agree with everyone else. That Batman look great, and the face/mask is really, really impressive.

While I have been recovering from FF burnout, my youngest son found my AD&D 2nd edition "stuff". We have been playing Humanoid characters from the Complete Humanoids. These are two of our characters...Raggedtooth a Bugbear warrior and Ragash an Orc warrior.
Those look awesome, SCD!
I'm glad to see you getting back into things!
SCD! Glad to see you back around!
These skins are beautiful. I love the texture work on everything. Fantastic job on them!!
These are very nice designs, with your choice of Mesh pieces for your Skopes adding so much more to them.
Those characters are really cool-looking. Fantastic job on both of them!
That bugbear is really fantastic. I'm very impressed with these.
Great work SCD! I'm glad to see you're back.
Also, I think it's pretty cool that you create Freedom Force content with your family in mind.

Woohoo!!! More SCD goodness. Good to see you back. (and beautiful skins as well.)
Oh man, the Justice Guild.
Assemblers! Crusaders!
Man, I love it when one universe does an alternate take on another universe's characters.
Especially if it's to show how their characters could kick those characters' butts. That's my favourite.
These are swell! The Guild reaaaally pops!
SCD! Ohh man, welcome back, and with such beautiful skins too! Is it Christmas already?
Those are all really great, but I think I may like Wandjina best. You've done such an excellent job on that skin, even that ridiculous design looks fantastic. Great work man, and good to see you on the forums again!
Hey! Long time no see!
Sweet set of skins. I don't think I'd ever seen any of the first two sets.
I'm waiting for The Squadron Supreme...
Hey SCD! Welcome back! Awesome new skins, too!
These are wonderful, SCD!
I love seeing the Assemblers in particular.
Lovin' the bugabear, and that streak is divine. Nice job!

Great work on the Crusaders and Assemblers.
I never did get around to finishing my Black Siren mesh. I know I had one but no skin for it. If you don't mind, would you be able to put the Tom Turbine on the mesh I did way back when. I got the glow on it. I'd like to see that nice skin on it.
Download it here:
Hey Avalon, I don't think your link made it into your post.
Wonderful work as always SCD, glad to see you back.
Hi Avalon, I would be happy to adjust this Tom Turbine to fit your scope. The one I did is based on Ren's Dynamo. Your slopes are the ones that insured me! In particular, The Streak is your skope with my skin. I have a few other things to complete and then I should be able to adjust for you.
Sorry, thought the link went through. In case you don't have them, I have them all. I even did Black Siren.

Hi everyone,
It has been awhile and I have missed contributing. While away I have been actively involved with Adventure League and D&D 5e. Given that all my characters have been based on comic characters, I guess you could consider them Else Worlds interpretations.
This season my main character has been Madcap, Human Rogue Mastermind.
One night shortly after the hag's premeditation, Madcap rocked himself slowly in front of the fire softly laughing in a menacing tone. Intermittently, the others in the party could here him as he softly whisper, "You will not make a laughing stock of me.....Obviously, the first scene was compete but you demand a grand finale!" With that, Madcap suddenly looked up and met the gaze of each member of the party. He is almost unrecognizable to them as his gaze does not hold the same glint of malevolence and chaos it typically does. His eyes appear sad and sullen for the first time the party can ever recall. Madcap speaks to nobody in particular while gazing into the campfire, "There was once a man who was a devoted member of the City Watch of Waterdeep. On many occasions, this Watchman found himself coming up short as he tried to reel in a tumultuous man dressed as a Jester. This clown and his gallivanting were frustrating for all members of the Watch. Even more troubling for this Watchman was that during his time on the Watch, his belief in what it stood for was tested over and over. Eventually, this FOOL learned the Watch was not as loyal and true as the citizens believed. Slowly, over time, the vast majority of the Watch became embroiled in a variety of illicit activities. The loyal Watchman was disturbed by this change. He could not take being part of what the Watch had become and so he gathered evidence against the other members and brought it to his superiors. The poor BUFFOON miscalculated this move! In sharing this he learned the leadership of the Watch were really the brains of the operations!! Working in the shadow of the Blackstaff, the Watch had become a ruthless and well organized criminal operation. The Watch leadership, fearing exposure, took their vengeance out on the foolish little Watchman. As a result he was left for dead in an alley way in Waterdeep. It was here, laying bloody and broken that he heard a haunting melody coupled with a mirthful laugh. The sound was jarring for him as he drifted in and out of consciousness. "....Citywatch laid an egg.....Giving people fright......Fun to Ride and Gore.....Slaying all the way......He got away!" The song ended with a long mirthful laugh that the broken FOOL joined in with as he struggled to his feet. Strangely, within two weeks, members of the Watch, know for their brutality, began turning up dead in strange places and poses with clown make up painted to their faces. Eventually, most of the long tenured members of the Watch had either gone missing or were found humiliated and lifeless. The attacks on the Watch stopped, as suddenly as they started, and life returned to normal for the citizens of Waterdeep...............or Not?"....."Bwhahahahahahaha.....And with that the look on Madcap's face again changed. Staring back at each member of the party was a look of determination couple with a hint of such cruelty that one could feel it! After a few seconds, Madcap promptly rolled over and began snoring....On occasion his snoring interrupted by a shrill, "Oswald.....where is Oswald?"

Welcome back SCD. Glad to see you. I hope life has been treating you well and that you have been healthy, safe, and sane during these trying times. I definitely miss seeing your contributions to the community, always great stuff. On a side note, unfortunately, your picture isn't showing up.
Hi Cyber, thanks. I am using google photos, any idea how I get the image to display from that? I tried copying and pasting the link. That unfortunately did not work
I don't think Google Photos works. After Photobucket started smacking us around, I went with Imgur (https://imgur.com/). So far, it's been free financially, and free from grief.
Welcome back Sioux City Dynamo!
Ok....Lets try this again.

Very nice. Looks like he's caused some mischief.
Very nice SCD. It definitely looks like you've been practicing as there seems to be a change in your skinning style.
Hot diggity dog, SCD's back!!
Last weekends adventure required an update to Madcap's Avatar!
Featured in this weeks issue of Inside Avernus......Gourmet Glutton (bag of devouring), slightly cursed rare magic item or portable sidekick with a bite? You decide......

Nice! Really cool design for the bag!

Well, we will finish Descent into Avernus soon. If Madcap survives, I will have to shelve him for awhile as we will move onto Eberron and the Oracle of War! I have not had a character in the Eberron setting so this should be interesting.
My primary character will be Calculus, Warforge Cleric Knowledge Domain of the Shadow with an early 2 level dip into Warlock Great Old One Patron. Any thoughts on which comic character I am trying to pay homage to with this guy?
oooo, I'm really liking the design there.
Very cool!
Cool looking character!
Wow, really cool looking!
Nice character concept, my first tought was "as a cleric he could fit some cleric dress", cause i think you want to mark the fact that he is a robot and still he is a religious guy.
Glad to see that you're back SCD! Those are some great skins too!
Designation....Calculus online. Statement....In the end, the Shadow comes for us all!"

Warforge Cleric, Knowledge Domain/Great Old One Warlock serving the Eberron Deity the Shadow. This character is based loosely on a cross of Brainiac and the Borg.
Man, that's a gorgeous skin and a great design!
"Martha, there is something wrong with the reception on the idiot box again! This guy here is no Cesar Romero!"

You are correct sir! He is not. What you have here is my backup character for our soon to start new session in Eberon. Should something happen to Calculus or he malfunction in someway, Uproar (Shifter - Longtooth, Barbarian - totem warrior) will pick up his great axe, mr. happy and spread his own version of joy to those he encounters!
Also, thought I would share a closer version of the faces of Madcap and Uproar. While both are based on Joker, each has a different take on his chaotic personality. The more I think of it, the credit for these faces really should go to to the sculptor of the mesh (I think it was Bearded) and the bases I used (male crazy- c6) (male standard - murs - I think). Thank you to everyone that makes it possible for custom characters to be created!

Very nice skins, and it's cool hearing your how they connect to your D&D character.
Those look great!
