Costume Rating 85: Dazzler

This weekend I've picked Dazzler's first X-Men costume to rate:

I went with "Like". When this Costume came out, it was really unique, and it definitely stood out. While it absolutely dates itself (Man, I feel old), it's a Costume that could work well today with minimal alterations. The Color Scheme works, and it definitely seeks out attention, so it suits Dazzler well.

I went with "like" also, although, I much prefer the later variation she did to this one, as she always struck me as an 80's type of hero/singer type and I think the later costume variant fits her better.

I went with a mild Like.
I kinda feel like this is a prototype for a good design more than a good design on it's own. The symbol works, and the blue looks good. I think I like the non-symmetrical design. And I like the glove on the one side.
I don't like the head band, too dated.

I think Pod's about got it.  It's very much a product of its time, which is fine, but doesn't make for an iconic design.
