I don't know about you, but I've started using the above links to go to my Yahoo Groups instead of waiting for them to sort them and display them under "All My Groups".

I don't have anywhere near as many as you, but I keep a list of mine on a Text File for easy access.

I know, double post, but I stumbled across this and found it pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share.

Added it to the first post.

Checked the site list today. Made some comments, but there seems to be at least something at each site.

Checked the sties again. Hope to update the Wayback entries over the weekend.

Well, none of the Links seem to work on this one, but it's pretty cool to look at.

It is (was?) a cool site, but I've been through it and, as you say. nothing works. Which begs a question: should I include sites that don't work, just as a kind of guide to what was on the site. I think that most of the skins here are available someplace else (although that place may be my and CB's hard drives)?

Heros For Hire once was Gyrus' and Firestorm's site....in the very early days (back when everything was just starting out). Brings back memories.

Does anybody remember the URL for HeroForce V1 site?  I'd love to take a look at it with the wayback machine :)

I think it's http://www.gammapatrol.com but am unsure....

This post I am going to list sites on The Wayback Machine that are dead. Some pics are still there, and maybe a file or two I missed, but it shows how much we have lost over the years.

Dead and not on The Wayback Machine:

This is going to take awhile...

Some of this stuff has been made available on other sites or Yahoo Groups.

Hey DG, do you know of a way to access the map pages of FX Force?  I can get to the site, but the menu doesn't work anymore, and I don't remember the address for the maps pages.  Being able to save those pages and have a visual reference for classic maps would be tremendously helpful for modders.

Thanks DG!  That gave me a partial success.  I got to the maps page, but most of the images for individual maps were gone.  Opening them one at a time, I managed to find a few, but most seem not to have been archived, at least in my searching.

*stumbles onto page*

As far as FXForce goes, I MAY have all the visuals for the map pages (and the other pages) still backed up on my computer... so... I might be able to help with that. No promises.

Benton, would this help?

https://web.archive.org/web/20140311154211/http://frp.unlimited2.net:80/maps/

I haven't seen that site in forever! I almost forgot what it looked like. :P

That said, all of Dana's and Conduit's map pics are uploaded to the backup site, including the ones not on that archival retrieval.

Added Tetragene's site to the Wayback Machine entries. The link goes to his skins page, and most of them seem to be there.

I also checked all the sites in the living list, and downloaded at least one file at random from them. Which could mean that I got the only thing left on the site by accident.

Cyber Burn

Not sure if this was posted or not, but a round of insomnia made me stumble across it.

Just letting people know that the FRP Backup sites have been added...

Now with FXForce!

daglob

Three links to an assortment of Freedom Force Avatars have been added to the site list.

Probably a lot of duplication going on, and probably still a few missing (Like DJ's most recent avatar), but still should be some fun.
