problem installing custom fx sounds,please help

I tried installing rens vigilante_song fx I place the sound wav in the data/sounds/powers folder followed the instruction of intaling the fx and sound. tried it in the game and the fx show but i do not get any sound. I tried the same thing with electro fantastic_four_leadership fx and the same thing happens. I see the fx but no sound. any help in this matter will be very much appreciated
