Looks like we lost a day's worth of postings, but we seem to be back. Anyone know what happened? Somebody let GG touch the surge protector again?

I still blame tiobe. I also lost a few pms...If it wasn't tiobe, then some witch or warlock came in here, did a spell, and erased a whole day of existence we'll never get back.

YAY! FR is back up and rocking again...

I take a weekend away from my home to visit my sick grandmother and apparently the board decided to take a leave of absense as well... plus it ate one of my updates in my thread just moments after I posted it. :blink:

So looks like it's back to work for another week...

While I didn't touch the servers, what happened could be classified as a "glitch" [dum dum DUUUUM]

Anyway, I didn't get an email about what caused the server outage until after it happened. Basically, the server we're hosted on went belly up and wouldn't reboot so all of the most recently backed up data was transfered to another box. Wish I had been given some warning, otherwise I would have posted something, but I guess these things don't always give you time to react.

On the plus side, we's back! :D

pffft....Meejub got ripped off. Everybody knows that Joe Q would have done the retcon pro bono; he was just looking for an opening that only marginally made sense.

I think it had something to do with Mephisto's deal in "Brand New Day"
