Seriously, black-on-dark-blue is an absolute pain to read. Black-on-dark green is only slightly better. Both are really irritating.

Making a post is hardly equivalent to "kicking the door open" or using a megaphone, especially given the fact that you can simply choose not to read it if such activities gall you so much.

I can't elect to not read his post until I've already entered the thread and had my eyes raped by his stylistic choices.

And I can't simply avoid threads he starts, because what if he replies to someone else's thread? I could be reading a thread and then BAM, bleeding eyes.

It's inconsiderate to the rest of the board for him to use such a dark background colour. Hell... I'd argue that using any background colour on a regular basis is pretty damn ugly, but we won't get into that. I'm choosing my battles.

This coming from a guy whom has a full on crotch shot in his avatar pic. Everytime I read a thread with a post by you my eyes are being molested by your close up / angle choices.

It's inconsiderate to the creator of the thread not to post anything regarding the subject matter of the thread.
