i'm starting to think this has got to be linked to big 3 EF, DF or FX. or that beyonder's toying with us

Does this mean we can expect to be transported to Battleworld in the near future?   If so, I'll need to schedule an appointment with my hairdresser (on fire) post haste.

Phantom Bunburyist and The Prat in the Hat

Hairdresser on fire! Greatest FF comment ever.

Also I'd like to add: I'm just so busy, busy, busy...

Tomato

Oooh! Oooh! I have a pointless suggestion! Pick Me!

<.<
>.>

The Skindex!

But anyway, in all seriousness, I have drawn three conclusions from this thread. Firstly, the fact that this is limited to the skins and general forums suggests that it is (at least primarily) a skin site. Secondly, if you'll read the bold portions of the following quote

QuoteI am passing along a link on behalf of some members who don't want to be known until the curtain is pulled all the way back. They've been working on this and want to give people a chance to speculate on it before the reveal.

Which, along with the quote "What was old becomes a new", suggests a former group site. I'd also take from the "What was old..." quote that neither Prev or TPB have anything to do with it's creation. If they had the quote would end in "becomes new" or at least "becomes anew"

Thirdly, I doubt "wwlkxryw" is the actual clue... it seems more like a code then a literal mix of letters

HumanTon

A code--why of course! That's it!

Let's see ... carry the one ... transpose the matrix ... apply the Santini transform ....

And viola!

B-E-S-U-R-E-T-O-D-R-I-N-K-Y-O-U-R-O-V-A-L-T-I-N-E

Hmmm, I'm not sure I did that right.

GGiant

Maybe it's Humanton! :o :P
Is it really KennX?
It's got to be a member that don't make any :ff: or :ffvstr: content anymore or even visit here!

Why would it "got to be" one of them. Do you even know all those old members? Also, are you sure tomato? Are you really sure?

*disappears in a puff of words--cuz someone got word happy. *

To be completely fair, Afghanant grew up in New Jersey. I'm just saying...

catastrophe

if you put the letters in a different order it could be www.kxrly

kennxreally :O

its probably a secret code the Illuminati hid for their accomplices

GGiant

Actually, I did that and I got this:
www.lkxry
I think we'll get to nowhere until we find out what this means.
Maybe Grenadier? Nah! Although I appreciate him visiting FR, even though I don't know him!

Another clue has arrived at my doorstep:

http://readinghistory.googlepages.com/home

I didn't get far with #2, but this one seems pretty juicy.

ow_tiobe_sb

Cheeky buggers, the lot of you! ;)

Let it be known that this was the site that launched a thousand wars betwixt Prev and TPB!

And it appears to be clearly well worth the bloodshed. 8^)

How did you figure it out, ggiant? Tomato probably had it figured out last night until I played the confusion game with him.

Lunarman

That is a really awesome site!!

Wooooooo

laughing paradox

So I looked back at the clues and I have no idea how that all added up to HeroForce v2, but I'm sure glad it did. Great stuff, guys. I had a feeling that Podmark and AfghanAnt would be back, but I really thought TUE was done for a while. I'm glad none of you are. The site looks phenomenal. With this and Freedom Asylum up temporarily, I'm gonna be doing a lot of downloading.

murs47

Holy snap the site looks great!

This was one of my favorite sites back in the day, glad to see it back again.

Previsionary

Well now that the secret's out, I think I can point out a few things that struck me as odd that only a few people picked up on and some other stuff I noticed:

  • Pod, AA, and UE all quit in the same week and were too busy to focus on FF content (and pod's pc broke)

  • I found it ironic that those 3 quit and how odd that they all were members of GPL as well.

  • All 3 of them also had google pages and TuE's goes down for the foreseeable future, eh? Not even he's that cold.

  • Who else was hosted by GPL that immediately connects with AA? Ink and C6...another trio?!

  • So, it's not too far-fetched to think that the old trio would be "replaced" by a new trio with one connecting member...like a comic, no?

Podmark

For the record Pod's computer never broke, it only became stronger than ever :D

That was the idea actually. I think used the JLA and Avengers as examples while we were discussing the site.

Alaric

Great site! Very well done!

Well more like stretched the truth. I did have a computer issue that made me unable to skin for a bit at that time. But it was no where near as bad as I made it out to be, and now my computer issues are the best they've been in over a year.

doctorchallenger

And I looked in to seeing if I could scrounge and old PC from my university to hold you over Pod, until you could get yourself an up-to-date model (It must be noted that I had no luck).

You... fibbers!

Ah man I'm really sorry, I hope you didn't waste too much time on that.

doctorchallenger

No problem. No major time wasted. Just trying to do a good deeed and all that.  Glas to see you guys still active.  And the trail of breadcrumbs was fun to follow.

GGiant

WOW! This is like the band of skinners!
C6 is alone! :o Ha! I'm kidding.
Why did I got the feeling of this from the start?
But seriously, the only clue I don't understand is #2 or was it just a trick? ;)
