Freedom Force is a great game for just about *any* mod. That's why I enjoy it so much. Superhero, GI Joe, Transformers, fantasy, sci-fi, you name it. I even have different herofile folders for each type that I swap out depending on what I feel like playing.  :)

One type of mesh a number of people have expressed interest in is a female version of the Plasticman mesh.

yell0w_lantern

Yep.
Dreams are what got me started meshing.
I did my one big dream mesh - Guy Gardner Reborn.
Everything else is extra.  :D
I need to learn how to skin...

Well Lionheart, on one hand, I want to agree with you, but on the other, it's pretty hard to make GI JOE work right in FF2.  In FF1, it was a much better fit, but the fact that they all use guns makes the new energy system pretty ridiculous.  If the ammo script was ported over, and you could force powers to continue firing until you issued a different order or the energy ran out, it would be different.  As is, GI JOE just doesn't fit.  (While Transformers fit pretty well.)

Yep, I didn't keep it in context. I play primarily FF1 too, though I have both games.

QuoteI suppose the SINGLE character that I'd really love to see would be a dedicated Aquaman mesh by Ren, skinned by C6.  He'd have his seahorse steed, tirdent, and armor all hexable, with different keyframes for land and sea.  That would be quite awesome.

Don't go giving Ren ideas now! I still have 3 meshes of his to skin! Then who knows what he'll do after that...he's crazy! Crazy I tellsya!

BentonGrey

Haha, I doubt Ren has much interest in doing my dream mesh, although I told him jokingly that I hope my Aquaman stories (if I ever can get back to working on them) will grip both of you with an irrational love of the character that will force you to work night and day on creating said mesh/skin. ^_^

Mystik

my ultimate dream mesh would probably be called male_dynamic_cape or male_cloak -think batman (if you can imagine what I'm thinking)

others would be

iceman by x-dud
superboy(kon) and impulse by renegade
young justice by c6 or aa or pod
current ironman by gren

Miracleman mesh/skin.
I did the whole family. You'll have to get someone to send it to you since it doesn't seem to be in my yahoo group anymore.

Female mesh that functions like a Mr Fantastic.

Mesh and skin?

I don't think he needed a mesh so much as enabled fxs for his stars... here's what they look like:

The mesh for Miracleman is Gren's Male_Basic_FX.

Those three characters have such a special place in my heart. I grew up with them and to know only one of them is still around makes me feel something was taken from me.

aj4life16

F**k me.

They're awesome.

But you can't get those skins?

I know what you mean Ant those three are among the handful of DC characters I really care about. Losing Kon is especially saddening :(

Yeah, Kon's death really hit me. It was sort of the same with Linda Danvers. I feel like the DC I grew up with is gone for a world that is a 8@57@r612@710# of the Pre- and Post-Crisis. The funny thing I think Dc thought they were creating a new world for both old and new readers but it just made everyone upset rather than joining us.

I'm sure someone has them all you have to do is request them that someone send them to you. They are currently unavailable to me right now.

Damn double post.

Ares_God_of_War

My dream Mesh would be a Male_Heavy Versatile Apocalypse mesh thats between inks apocalypse mesh and male heavy with hexxable cape a couple different shoulder pads arm hoses etc so you could make a good version of the 616, AoA and the Ultimate/Legends Apocalypse - the perfect skins would be Murs one he did for me resized to fit and a 616 and AoA version :)

You have no idea how hard it was to not pm you and let you know that.
I'm heading out for the holidays but I'll get on this when I get back. If you're working on any skopes for them let me know.

Cyber Burn

The meshers, skinners, skopers, ect., here have done an amazing job of creating just about every character a person could ever want.  The only "custom" mesh/skin combo that I would really like to see is DC Comics' Johnny Thunder side by side with his Thunderbolt.

laughing paradox

I have a few choices for dream mesh/skins.

Enchantress - DC's classic look. I believe TAP43 skoped one but lost it due to a computer crash. I'm a huge fan of the 80's Suicide Squad and that tease of a skope still dwells in my dreams. Heh

Birds of Prey - I love this comic. I would love to see Lady Blackhawk, Misfit (DAARK VEEENGEAAANCE!) and the new Judomaster.

The others I would love to see are actually Alan Moore projects.

Top Ten - The Alan Moore comic book about super-powered police officers rocked my socks. I don't think some of them could be made (Chemlo, the dog-headed radio guy?) but it would be cool to have them in the game.

Watchmen - With the movie coming out next year of the best comic book ever, I would love to see a complete set of the Watchmen, including Silk Spectre and the second Nite-Owl.

daglob

Someone was scoping a Nightowl II, and there is at least one version of Silk Specter out there.

daglob

Another dream mesh would be a 1960's Red Skull ala Kirby, with both a pistol and a cigarette in a holder (have him puffing on it as one of the idle animations). He'd need baggy pants and shirt, boots, and that crazy jaw that said "this can't possibly be a mask". Probably be a VX mesh.

Karkas from THE ETERNALS

Any of the 1950s/early 60s Kirby monsters

A War Wheel

The Creature from the Black Lagoon

A giant, fully animated Blob (the monster, not the mutant)

The Harryhausen cyclops from The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad

A griffon

The Wild Things from Where the Wild Things Are

The flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz (For that matter, all the Oz and Wonderland characters)

Odin

Flying monkeys would rock!!  Every thing is all fun and games until the flying monkeys arrive! ;)  And actually so would a grypon...and Kirby'an monsters!

Dr.Volt

How did I miss this thread back in October???  What a great topic!!!

Dream skins?  Here's my list:

1.   JOHNNY RAYGUN! Highly under rated indie comic by Rich Woodall!   I've suggested it before, but no love for Johnny as of yet.  link:  http://www.johnnyraygun.com/
2.   Buzz boy.  John Gallagher's excellent all ages appeal superhero.  Word is he is slated to be worked on by one of the fine skinners here.  And BB is worth waiting for!  link: http://www.peregrine-entertain.com/Comics/Buzzboy/Buzzboy_Home.html
3.   Old school ST Captain Kirk:  Look out when Kirk opens up the can whoop butt...which he does often!  And what that won't solve a good phaser blast will do!
4.   The Bride from Kill Bill, oh man is she good with that katana!   It got some discussion and some promises of attempting to skin her...but alas...still waiting.  *sniff, sniff*
5.   Klingons, preferably the ridged forehead kind with disruptors and battleths (sp?).  What can I say...I'm still a Trekkie.  And it would be fun to beat on a horde of these guys.
6.   The Mystery Men (from the 1999 movie), the Shoveler, the blue raja, the spleen, the Sphinx, Mr. Furious, the bowler et.al. All of them!  In fact, it would be great to have Casanova Frankenstein and his henchmen included.  link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_Men

Well, I know much of this is wishful thinking.  Again, GREAT thread though!!!

daglob

The Bride is out there, skinned by hedleschkin, or however it is spelled. The text file, with the location of the mesh, is as follows:

Skin Name: the bride
Mesh Model: instinct_lawhair_ninjato (by fusion it can be found as iln.zip at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fusionmeshes/files/ )

Author: hedleschikn
Email:
Universe: Kill Bill vol. 1 .

There is a whole Original Trek crew for VXMale2 (I think). They come with an old-style Klingon and Uhura.

...and I'd love to see meshes for The Mystery Men.
