STF Round 2

Great effort tonight folks.

We figured out a workable strategy for the AVs, and a foolproof method to wipe out the towers. Recluse himself proved to be not actually THAT hard, except he's a bloody cheater and spawns level 54 Bane bosses at 10% health. BAD had logged for bed, and we just didn't have the punch to kill him with all the extra chaos.

We're reconvening on Thursday at 8EST for another try. We're first going to get EVERY team member a full 5 Shivans. The AVs and towers should go quickly (30 minutes maybe), then we'll just pour on all the juice for the Recluse fight using all that we've learned, and hopefully we can kick his arse once and for all.

If we can get to tomorrow night without Middy getting logged out (Which will require there to be no maintenance again tomorrow), we can finish the last mission in about five minutes.

No idea if it'll happen, but that would be really nice. :D

I had been logged in 20 hours when my motherboard crapped the bed. Needless to say, I'm not anymore. And I'm very angry.

Oh, well.  We'll just have to do it the hard way.

Just to confirm - I will be available to help out this evening, and I'll be in for the duration.  I'll try to log on early so that I can head to Bloody Bay and get a new Shivan Shard.

Since we'll have to clear the Inner Circle again, people should remember to grab accuracy inspirations for when we have to face Captain Mako.  (Except for me - I'll just need lots and lots of purple defense inspirations.)  After that, we found that things worked pretty well when people kept feeding the designated tank (again, me) Defense Inspirations.  White Clover and I would comprise the "distraction team," and draw the attention of Lord Recluse by pounding on one of the four turrets.  Everyone else would then start smashing a turret on the opposite end.  Regroup, rinse and repeat.

We also realized that the Arachnos Flier kept respawning, so we had to time our assaults to start just as the Flier was leaving.

Apart from that, I recommend sweeping and clearing all of the Arachnos minions to be found prior to the turrets where Lord Recluse spawns.  I discovered that if we don't, LR summons them to come help protect the turrets - in addition to the extra minions that he spawns.
