Doctor TOC

These have to get asked for pretty regularly, I'd imagine. I've got a really great Apollo skin, but I'm looking for the rest of the team for  :ff:;
Jenny Quantum, The Midnighter, Jack Hawksmoor, The Doctor, and Swift.

I'm also looking for the superhuman clones they fought in their first issue, as seen here> http://www.the11thhour.com/archives/022000/comicreviews/images/authority1.jpg. This is one of the skins I lost to a corrupt archive, and I've bitterly missed it ever since; when you're bored, there's really nothing like a battle royal between your favourite heavy hitter(s) and a huge swarm of identical guys with heat vision, flight and super-strength  :D

Jakew

These were all available for download at Gamma Patrol :(

Klauser

Bingo!!!

I just checked my archive CDs - I have the following Authority skins by AA that I got from GPL:

Apollo, The Doctor, The Engineer, Jack Hawksmoor, Jenny Sparks, Midnighter, Swift.  I also have AA's Gamora Supersoldier skin - which I think is the super-human clone character you were talking about.

If you're interested, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send them on out ...

Scorpion13mk2

They also had:

Regis (Blue demony guy from the Sliding Albion Arc)
The High (Superman Analogue from the Live Free or Die Stormwatch arc)
Gammoran Policeman
Elijah Snow
Jakita Wagner
The Drummer
Ambrose Chase (The First Third Man from Planetary)

There might be more, but I cant remember off the top of my head.

PM me your E-mail and Ill send them to ya, if you want.

AfghanAnt

i hate to do this but can you send those to me as well, i never reinstalled them

I am thinking about redoing them. I love the Authority and it is ashame they have been suffering from terrible writing since Ellis left.

Not sure how much better you could have done them, but looking forward to your attempt if you try!

And your skins should be in your inbox.

Man, these things are cool. Thanks Klauser, for supplying them, and AA for doing them in the first place

And you're right about the book, AA; Millar's too much of a cynic to see where Ellis was going with the team originally, and every writer since then has only seen the ultra-violence and snappy one-liners and failed to see anything else. But that's a topic for another forum.

Scorpion13mk2

I agree with AA on both counts.

1. Making the Authority and Planetary skins over would be METAL.

2. Mark Millar isnt anywhere near as skilled as Ellis. I have alot of problems with him, but like AA says, this isnt the place......

Anywho, any chance we might see more guest appearances from the PLanetary series in your new skinning/hexing endeavors? The Four? The Evil NOTJLA from the first issue of Planetary? Doc Brass' Seven Companions?

What about Ellis's StormWatch run? That alone wanted me to get skins and meshes out of those characters! Oh, and the High and his Proto-Authority gang of superhumans! Id kill a man to get a smoke skin!

And youre just the man to do it, AA.

I did the High but I don't know if I'll get to all those but you never know. I'm on a Marvel kick right now but maybe one day when issue three and four of Authority comes out I'll take on their universe again.

Jakew

I'd love to see cool-looking Fuji mesh and Hellstrike (with leather jacket) skin, ala Ellis' Stormwatch. Are either of these floating around on 'net, anyone?

Doctor TOC

I'd have to second (third?) Scorpion13mk2 and Jakew's call for some of the folks from Ellis's Stormwatch. I've seen some skins of the team from the pre-Ellis era, but almost none from Ellis's run.

Heh, just realised that with them and the movie Alien mesh I could restage the battle aboard the space station.

Yeah. And we do have a few cool WildCATS meshes and skins floating about, too.

OH, or, it boggles the mind, a restaging of the last stand of Doc Brass and the Seven.

Sir, I like the way you think
