Good to see you still in action. Hope real life isn't being too mean. This place needs its artists :)

Renegade and Yellow look fantastic. Awesome job

yell0w_lantern

Very very powerful!
We'll kick the Sinestro Corps' collective booty!

Blkcasanova247

Thanks guys! So I know this isn't the the hexing forum...but here's the first skoped mesh I ever did thanks to style.

And to tell you the truth I'm still workin on it to get it just right and I'm waiting for Juancho to be less busy so he can skin it.

Awesome stuff, Blk!

I like all of the details in the clothing wrinkles and seams. Reminds me of the Ultimates art.

Blkcasanova247

So here's one for my lady love!  I had decided early last year to create an AV for my wife....I thought it was good at the time but lookin' at it with new eyes and I hope somewhat improved pencils I redid it.

Uncle Yuan

Each and every one of these is a gem (although not as nifty as my wallpaper .  .  .  ^_^).  It's always a treat to check in on this thread!

I love what you're able to do with seams on simple costume pieces. Its inspiring, in a way.

No worries Juan you take care of whatever you've got to do and we'll work together when you're all set. And you know Rev I tell you I'd love to see you skin that AV redux I did for you. :D I'm absolutely in love with the JL skins....but I miss the "ole pepper"...your "hyper" realistic style. Up next an AV redux for Reepicheep, Powergirl, Juan's UltraGirl and an AV for "The Casanova"?

Blkcasanova247

I think you'll like the direction I'm goin' with your AV.....it's got 2 versions.

Blkcasanova247

Ok so I went a little "Bart Sears" crazy with this....but I guess that was the progression of what I was trying to acomplish with this AV redux. Reepicheep....this one's for you!

I'm gonna polish it up a bit over the weekend and maybe add a couple of things to it...but for the most part......Done! :D

ooh, very nice!  My only critique (and I only speak up when something strikes me as not flowing properly) is the sword hand.  I don't think it's even physically possible to grip something cylindrical like that, and keep the fingers spread.  Spherical, yes, but every time I tried closing my fingers around something like that (tried a hand axe, a dagger, a long sword, and a claymore), they all grouped together.  Granted, my arms don't bulge nearly as big as his, though.  ;)

Casanova, that is awesome to degrees that I will never be able to express. You're absolutely right, I do like the direction you went with him, looks absolutely brilliant. evil oppression really stands out there.

If i may be so bold to say, I think thats your best piece yet.  ^_^  :P

Panther, I do believe it is possible to comfortably hold a cylindrical object with spread fingers... hell, I'm doing it right now.

Blkcasanova247

Glad you like it! And now that I look at it I think I do need to fix the fingers. I'll hit that later on when I get home from work.

EDIT: You know....I wonder what Reepicheep would look like.....say circa 2007? Hmmm.....

Reepicheep

I think your imagination is the one to trust when we think about that question. ;)

(the old, old version of reepicheep was based in modern days... sadly, the only image I have of him is (on the right)

Which doesn't give a very clear impression of his character.  )

I'm not sure, but I think it would include a ragged piece of cardboard, with the following message written in Sharpie:

WILL WORK FOR FOOD

Blkcasanova247

Well..I just finished this and am workin on couple other things. I'm completely baked but am happy with this...for the most part.  :)

Courtnall6...or at least how I'd envision him. A little me....A little Iron Man....a little Bubble Gum Crisis.....with a dash of Appleseed and "Voila!"....a few tweaks here and there....a splash of color and he'll really be done. Well now I'm off to the races.

Thanks man.  Version 2 of Court...Reepicheep...and Glitch Girl I will probably have done by this weekend!

MJB

Nice tight pencils. That armor looks great.

Cas just when I thought you couldn't get any better, you do!  Great work!

style

Speaking of C6 I would love to see him do some of these drawings as skins. Hey I would even do the skopes for him! hint! hint! ;)

Sevenforce

That is begging to be coloured. Absolutely begging, especially with such crisp pencil work. Overlay it with an ink (I don't think it would even need that) layer and you could give it to kids to crayon

juancho

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, i miss u buddy, i really miss talking to you and working with u
i am loving what u have been doing here, it is just off the charts spectacular,  I am really hoping to get some free time once i finsh my classes ( i got a new job at Shell lubricants too, that got me quite bussy)
talk to you later buddy, take care

Blkcasanova247

Hey Juan...RL's gotta come first. But you're my road dog so whenever you're back and we can work together..then cool! :D Style my man when you're right you're right. And since you gave me that little tutorial 'bout skopin' I've made a couple when I can but I think a couple of 'em could use a little TLC from the ultimate fan. And thanks again guy's for your comments and critique's. So here's Courtnall 6 v2...........

Hmmmmm.......something's....missing.....??? Ah..I know...where's the armor? Who needs that clunky metal cage when your tech allows you create "force-fields" that can withstand anthing short of a nuclear blast! Extraordinarily lighter our new model features interwoven micro-circuitry and that new car smell.  :D And of course 2 spankin new sync-bots.

Courtnall6

Me like!!

I may have to ink and colour these down the road!
