Evils sketch book new sketch 20/6/07

guess i'll start this again, after doing a lot of soul searching about my art and getting opinions of others about what was best choice of action in this thread, i finally got my arse in gear and did something

the first drawing of the year, a sketch to try and get my back into the flow of actually drawing.

sketched with a 4H pencil and finished with a 0.5mm mechianl pencil



i know the detailing is quite simple but the sketch was based on the animated series version of the character

again i'm more please with it in the sketch pad rather than the scan, may ink it and colour it if i get time

feedback of all kinds as always is most welcome

Not bad, though there's something a little off about the righthand side of her mask.  The eyes and left part of the crest look really good, but something about the perspective isn't right on the right I guess.  Are you planning to color this?

i piece i finished about a week or two ago, there are some major anatomy issues the legs and hips are terrible, but after working on it for a over a week re-doing detailing on the face and armour over and over i just gave up

u know any motu/pop stuff will pick my atnetion, so i couldnt be less amused bout this pic than any other one u did, i love this she ra redesign, totally sweet

teaser posters for a non-existent feature film version of the game mario.

personally i don't think this type of film could be handle in anyway apart from animation, and pixar would be perfect

i looked at a lot of the previous pixar teaser posters and tryed to create a similar layout

smaller images with a link to larger ones on dev art( sadly couldnt use the dev art embed feature)

wanted to just do a sketch for fun pure and simple,nothing to complex, so i went back to what i used to do draw quite a bit, big ugly weird monsters
i know my art is not to everyones taste, and the very few that its is arnt big fans :D

I'm a big fan of the old Tales to Astonish comics and others which featured huge mutant monsters and space alien weirdos drawn by Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby.

The drawings here remind me of an old rpg called "Talislanta". Well, and He-Man stuff of course.

TUE, is this an all pencil and ink drawing or is there any computer rendering?

thanks man that means a lot, its done with a 4h pencil then varity of gel pens, need to colour it unless anyone else fancys taking a crack at it
