Hi!

Just wanted to say...

My wife is being induced tomorrow, so we're gonna have another baby in the house this week.

Also, I got a new job and this is my last week at the old one.

The new job is going to be very strict about Internet usage, so I may not be able to post with the regularity I'm accustomed to... but you can't get rid of me that easily!

Well, congratulations are both accounts!

Isn't that usually a deal-breaker for those of us around here?

(he queries, posting from work)

I would have suggested your sanity, but that probably went about three kids ago.

Or perhaps the connectivity of your Vas Deferens? ;)

Congratulations all around!

Suuurre... throw around anatomy terms, Dr. Yuan...  No house calls, okay?  You keep away from my Vas Deferens.

And PG, my sanity went long before I had kids.

Thanks, Guys....

Short version...

Wednesday: Wife's induction failed, as she didn't progress on the oxytocin that was supposed to get her labor going.  Sent home.

Thursday: Wife has severe seizures in the evening, back to the hospital we go.

Friday:  Wife induced again, this time doctors a little more aggressive about it and we now have our son!  Stephen Gabriel, 7 pounds 6 ounces, healthy as all get out.  Also, last day of insurance coverage due to new job.  Hoping COBRA works the way it's supposed to.

Saturday:  Wife and baby still in hospital, seizures proving difficult to control completely due to her physical exhaustion.  Prayers welcomed.

Uncle Yuan

Eclapsia?  That can be worrisome.  Best wishes to your wife, and congrats on the new bundle of blue!

Gremlin

Prayers sent, pal. Congrats and best of luck!

Alaric

Sending my best hopes and wishes. Congratulations!

No, she has epilepsy.  Pregnancy makes her condition a little harder to keep controlled.

Anyhow, we're all out now.  Wife is very tired, but we're managing.

I'm sending lots of hope, prayers, and good vibes your way, BB.  Cheers!
