Alaric

it's cold out there.

Excuse me, I have to go thaw my fingers. Should probably count them while I'm at it, too... just in case...

Midnight

3 degrees when I got home from the bar and dropping.

Lunarman

London has been put on snow warning. They say it's going to be positively Siberian. Uh oh!

It's also cold enough in my bedroom that my computer doesn't like it when it first starts up, crikey!

lugaru

Currently 7 degrees F in Boston as we speak... just checked it. Ugh...

Worse part is that there are two inhabited rooms in my apartment, mine which is super cold and John's which is super warm. I cant turn the heat up too high without him complaining, so I spend my evenings wearing a sweatshirt and reading under the covers.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Ivanovich and the Party exiled you for crimes against the state.

'Tis currently -14 degrees C in the Boston area (feels like -24 degrees C with the wind chill).

Look at you keeping it real with Celsious... at least I know you wont be too affected when I become a terrible dictator and install the metric system. Other changes will include getting rid of pennies, price tags will include taxes (so if something say's $1 you pay with a buck and you are done) and in order to toughen up our youth I will re-instate the draft... into food industry jobs and field work. I dont care if your daddy is a lawyer, you need to learn how to bleach a sink or pick tomatoes.

Um...

That basically describes the country [a small, unnamed European country  :P] I'm in right now.

Except for the draft into the food industry, that's all your own.

Well here it's in the single degrees, and windy, and I work a third shift job that involves being outside for a couple of hours at a time

Oh yeah, that's the Terrible dictator part, otherwise It would be like 'the rest of the civilized world'. Stuff like 'inexpensive health care' and 'longer maternity leave' dosent impress most foreigners... I remember paying only for the bandages after being in a bus accident.

BWPS

Yeah, it's cold out here too. I work in a warehouse on the meat and produce side, and it feels way better in there than it does outside. Of course, it's never cold enough long enough that I can see some freakin' snow :(.

Cardmaster

Terribly terribly chilly here in Rhode Island.. but in 9 days I get to go back to Californian sun when I go back to school. ^_^

You can shovel the two feet of snow on my roof.

The Phantom Eyebrow

Well hark at you lot... with all your cold cold weather and your snowy snow...

Its also very cold here, just... not as cold as where you guys are.  So... yeah!

Panther_Gunn

Ya know, we may not get to see the sun that much this time of year up here in the Pacific Northwest, but at least we're above freezing.   :P :P :P

Ok, but first I'm going to sled off of it and then I'm going to build snowmen in your yard.

Meanwhile, in Winterlandr, a.k.a. Canada (Montréal), the temperature is way above the norm for the year's coldest month... it should reach 12 degree Celsius (54 in Fahrenheit) on Tuesday.

detourne_me

it's 8 degrees celcius here too... and i'm supposed to go snowboarding this weekend!

BWPS

72 degrees fahrenheit. :( I hate this place.

vamp

73 F

This is worse than just cold weather. At least you can wake up not guessing how cold or hot it is outside. A few days ago it was in the 40's as our high, now we are inching toward the 80's. I hate Houston.

And the Minnesota delegation says . . .

Suck it up, Chester!

Although it has been in the upper 20s - low 30s lately.

Here here! :P

Zapow

It was 2 degrees here last week with a foot of snow.

It was 67 degrees to today and the snow is gone, replaced by thunderstorms.

Welcome to Chicago.

Wow, sound familiar... you sure you're not talking about [Unnamed Town], Ohio?

Dr.Volt

I almost hate to say it but it's a high in the 60's F today.  We have been having unseasonably warm weather here in north-central TX.  I'm not complaining mind you!  I just almost feel guilty.  Then again, come summer, when we are roasting our hind ends off I'll bet most of you who are freezing will have the better weather.   :P

Carravaggio

Its summer time here, i might go to the beach... :D

catwhowalksbyhimself

We're up in the high 50's now, a full 50 degrees warmer than last week.

I'm just grateful for it for the few days that it's going to last.

Alaric

Spring-like weather in NY today... And just 6 days ago, when I started this thread, it was bitter cold...

Now that's just mean.

I have a friend from New Zealand - her family's Christmas tradition is to have a BBQ on the beach.  That always just seemed wrong to me . . .
