So, this show comes on after Bionic Woman and is certainly a different take on the cop drama. Detective Crews is an interesting character to watch. The way he plays off his partner and financial planner is hilarious most of the time. The one thing I don't think it needs is any more interview segments. It worked well enough for the pilot, but now it just drags down the story.

Anyone else enjoying it?

I am so far.

The interview segments are their way of slowly spinning out the back story.  For example, the details of the actual crime he was locked up for were disclosed this way in the most recent episode.

The different reactions of different people to him is also interesting.  Even the contrast between his former partner, who seems to empathise with him, having been shunned himself as a result of being Crews' partner, and the man's wife, who seems to blame him irrationally for what her husband went through.

It also puts him in an interesting place and leaves a lot of open spaces and even gives the audience an uncertainty as to how a given colleague will react.  This is different, yet believable, and interesting.

The cases themselves are also interesting, and Crews' quirks are both strange and many times believable.

Now this isn't one of the shows I will watch from the website, but I will watch it if it's on.

I tried watching the pilot but turned it off half-way through.  I found the characters, or maybe moreso the actors playing them, to be rather annoying and the plot for some reason didn't manage to keep my attention.  I may give it another chance but from I saw I wasn't impressed.
