News on X3 Special Edition and X-Men Trilogy?

Heya all,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news about FOX releasing an X-Men Trilogy boxed set or that special edition released overseas with all of that Phoenix concept art?

I'm hoping to at least get the trilogy.

Every time I see one of these special release editions months and months after the first version is released makes me sorry I buy DVDs when they come out. I've been burned so many times that I am about to give up, and only buy movies 2 years later, just to make sure.

Why don't they release both standard and Special ED at the SAME TIME? Let the people choose which they want. They are only slapping their fans in the face by making them buy the same thing over and over again!

The X-Men Trilogy Boxed Set is already out.  I own it.

Before the original release, I read an interview with Brett Ratner saying he was planning on releasing a special edition or a directors cut release of X3. This interview was last September, and the X3 dvd came out in November I believe. The interview said the special version was to be released sometime in the spring of this year. But it never happened. And as far as I know, nothing has been announced yet. (I'll check into it). However, if there is going to be one released (in the U.S.) you can pretty much guarantee it will release around the time the Wolverine or Magneto movies or other X-Men media is released to help rake in more sales.

The boxset was released in the US the same time X3 was released. But again, I haven't heard anything on the special edition.
